Sony Re-Teaming with MGM to Co-Finance/Distribute James Bond 23
Briefly: I knew this would happen! Throughout all the proceedings surrounding MGM finally getting back on the right track, many kept wondering if another studio would end up winning rights to some of their big franchises like James Bond. Well, Sony Pictures, who distributed Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace to much success, has officially reached an agreement to "co-finance and theatrically market and distribute Bond 23 worldwide" in 2012, as well as Bond 24 after that. I really didn't expect Sony to give up this big franchise, plus its only getting better with Sam Mendes directing, and maybe Javier Bardem starring, next.

Sally Field to Play Mary Todd Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln'
Last November not only did we learn that the long-gestating Lincoln biopic would be Steven Spielberg's next project this fall, but it was also revealed that Daniel Day-Lewis would play the iconic 16th President of the United States of America. As we inch closer toward the fall, the project seems to be gaining steam as a press release just sent our way from DreamWorks reveals Sally Field (Forrest Gump, "Brothers and Sisters") will play Mary Todd Lincoln, the president's wife. This is shaping up to be quite a year for Field as the actress also has another high profile role by playing Aunt May in The Amazing Spider-Man as well.

Exclusive: 8 Great New Photos from Yuen Woo-Ping's 'True Legend'!
Two brothers, one legend. We were asked to exclusively premiere a kick ass set of 8 photos from kung fu master Yuen Woo-Ping's latest martial arts epic True Legend and I just couldn't pass this up, as I really did love this flick. Best of all, these are awesome photos, especially in compliment to the official trailer, and there's even a few behind-the-scenes shots giving us a glimpse of the legend Woo-Ping hard at work. What I loved about the movie is that it's a true epic, the story spans lifetimes and there's a few weird, but awesome, moments, like those involving the "God of Wushu" played by Jay Chou. Check out all 8 new photos below.

Review: Wes Craven's 'Scream 4' Comments & Slashes to Brutal Fun
In 2000, with the release of a third Scream - after the first film in 1996 and Scream 2 in 1997 - it seemed the freshness had worn off, the idea of reflection on the horror genre as well as filmmaking as a whole had run its course to the point of self-parody. Remember Jay & Silent Bob making a cameo in Scream 3? Most of us wish we didn't either. But with Scream 4, 11 years appears to be a long enough hiatus for the cleverness to seep back in. It's been a gestation period for horror, and director Wes Craven and writer Kevin Williamson, who was absent from that third debacle, to take another crack at. With Scream 4, the two

Sean Penn May Be Taking 'The Last Photograph' with Christian Bale
Last summer we found out that Christian Bale was lined up to star in the long-gestating drama The Last Photograph from producer Zack Snyder and the team behind 300. However, at the time, the news was a little premature since negotiating hadn't even begun and Bale had only read a draft of the script at some point. Well, it appears Bale is still involved with the project as Deadline now mentions his name along with Sean Penn as being part of the cast. And as we heard with the Bale rumor, Niels Arden Oplev (the man behind the Swedish adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) has been confirmed to direct the film.
