Jane Lynch and Larry David Also Boarding 'The Three Stooges' Cast
With writers and directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly finally rounding up Will Sasso, Sean Hayes and most recently Chris Diamantopoulos as The Three Stooges, now the rest of the cast is being filled out and two more names have just entered the mix. Deadline was first to reveal that "Glee" favorite and Christopher Guest collaborator Jane Lynch would join the cast as Mother Superior, who runs the orphanage where the trio grows up, despite her best efforts to get them adopted. Meanwhile EW also learned that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and Whatever Works star Larry David will also have some role in the slapstick comedy.

Mark Wahlberg & Justin Bieber Teaming for Street Basketball Drama?
If the concert documentary Never Say Never just didn't give you enough of teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, then you're in luck. Deadline reports Paramount Pictures is negotiating to have Bieber star alongside Mark Wahlberg in an untitled drama set in the world of street basketball. However, if you're hoping to see him singing and dancing while shooting hoops, the project is more of a drama described as The Color of Money meets The Karate Kid. Apparently the idea spawned after Wahlberg and producer Stephen Levinson saw Bieber holding his own on the court during a NBA All-Star celebrity game. Read on.

Kristen Wiig, Anna Faris and Gillian Jacobs All Up for 'The Dictator'
Last November we learned that director Larry Charles and Sacha Baron Cohen, the duo who teamed up to bring us Borat and Brüno would collaborate again, but this time with a non-mockumentary feature film called The Dictator. Then we heard Saddam Hussein's best-selling novel Zabibah and the King inspired the story which sees a dictator risk his life to ensure democracy will never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. Now we have word from THR that Kristen Wiig (Paul), Anna Faris, and Gillian Jacobs ("Community") have emerged as the latest frontrunners for the lead female role opposite of Cohen.

Sony Pictures Animation Gains 'Instant Karma' with Fantasy Comedy
It seems kind of ironic that a project called Instant Karma picked up by New Line Cinema back in 2003 because anything but a quickly put together project, but that's Hollywood for ya. However, Heat Vision reports the project has life again with Sony Pictures Animation picking up the fantasy comedy about a misguided safecracker from New Orleans who dies but suddenly finds himself reincarnated as a fly. As the hero does good deeds to improve his karma, he moves up the food chain through a variety of animals, such as a frog, raccoon and dog, trying to get back to his human body and the woman he loves.

Armie Hammer in Talks to Play the Lone Ranger in Disney's New Take
This news deserves an exclamation point because I really love this casting! Armie Hammer is a true talent on the rise and he just seems like the perfect fit for this, even beyond Ryan Gosling, who was rumored as of just a few weeks ago. But now Deadline is saying that they've heard Armie Hammer, seen in The Social Network, is "in early talks" to star with Johnny Depp in The Lone Ranger as The Lone Ranger. Just think about it, his face, his height, this guy is just perfect for Reid. Hammer also recently took a role in Relativity's Snow White as the prince, and he's shooting Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar, so he is busy, but this is great news.

There's also some great indie gems from years past, a couple of stellar documentaries to see, a film from a time before Steve Martin made terrible family comedies, and the whole lot of classic James Bond films. German Actress Antje Traue Set to Battle Superman in 'Man of Steel'
After hearing earlier this month that Michael Shannon had landed the role of General Zod in Zack Snyder's new take on Superman with Man of Steel, it was only going to be a matter of time before we heard about casting for his right hand woman, the Kryptonian vixen known as Ursa. Previously we heard that Alice Eve, Rosamund Pike and Diane Kruger might be up for the role, but apparently Warner Bros. has decided to go in a different direction. Variety reports that German actress Antje Traue will actually take the villainous role and rather than going by the name Ursa, she will actually be called Faora in this iteration. Read on!
