Martin Campbell & Ryan Reynolds on 'Green Lantern' Story & Tone
Though the first trailer certainly was cause for concern with obviously unfinished special effects, and a tone that was all over the map, more recent footage has renewed my faith in Green Lantern. Now some new words from Martin Campbell and Ryan Reynolds about the direction of this cosmic comic book adaptation clear things up a bit. In speaking with Hero Complex, Campbell talks about the worries behind the tone of the film, which obviously has comedy mixed with some epic action. The filmmaker also talks about what really convinced him that Green Lantern was a project he needed to direct and we need to see.

Milos Forman to Helm 'Ponzi's Scheme' About Infamous Scam Artist
In the world of scams, there's one name that always stands out, so it's no surprise that Ponzi's Scheme will be given the feature film treatment. Variety reports veteran filmmaker Milos Forman, that man behind such iconic films as Amadeus and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest will direct this story about the real-life of Italian immigrant Charles Ponzi, creator of the eponymous financial scam and the precursor to today's biggest financial scam artists like Madoff and Kenneth Lay. And if that wasn't enticing enough, the script comes from writer Christopher Weekes whose script Muppet Man appeared on the 2009 Black List.

Must Watch: Badass HD First Trailer for Tarsem Singh's 'Immortals'!
"The Gods chose well." It's back again in high def! After debuting yesterday on YouTube in low quality, the official HD version of the trailer for Tarsem Singh's Immortals has debuted on Apple. I think this trailer just looks like an awesome, epic Greek gods story re-imagined by visual mastermind Tarsem. I can't wait! Henry Cavill (also Superman) stars as Theseus, and Mickey Rourke as his foe, the evil King Hyperion. Others include Luke Evans as Zeus (with the flaming whip), Isabel Lucas as Athena, Kellan Lutz as Poseidon. This looks so badass, but I've said enough, I'll let the HD trailer speak for itself. Fire this up now!

Paul Walker to Executive Produce & Star in Indie Thriller 'Vehicle 19'
This week will see him in some high speed vehicles for Fast Five, but Paul Walker is currently looking at a vehicle of a different type. According to Heat Vision the actor is going to star in and executive producer an indie thriller called Vehicle 19. South African filmmaker Mukuna Michael Dewil will direct the feature, and he also wrote the script (apparently it appeared on some sort of list tracking the best screenplays, though the Black List isn't mentioned) which centers on an unsuspecting traveler (Walker) in a foreign country who picks up the wrong rental car and becomes tangled in a web of corruption with the local police.

Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lopez and More Join New 'Ice Age' Sequel
Back in January we got a look at another traditional teaser for Ice Age: Continental Drift in the form of an animated short featuring the eccentric prehistoric squirrel Scrat. Now THR has word on some new cast members for the next animated sequel with Jeremy Renner, Wanda Sykes, Keke Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, Aziz Ansari and hip hop star Drake all providing their voice talents in the movie. Renner will portray Gutt, a self-styled master of the high seas while Lopez will play Shira, a sabre toothed who melts the heart of Diego (Denis Leary). The other actors' animated alter egos have yet to be officially unveiled by Fox.

'Zorro Reborn' Looks to Send the Classic Masked Hero to the Future
Though you may not be as familiar with the name Don Diego de la Vega, you certainly know his iconic alter ego Zorro, the legendary masked hero who etches his signature "Z" wherever he's prevailed. While a recent Antonio Banderas led franchise somewhat reinvigorated the hero's relevance in pop culture, a completely new take on the character will completely revamp him. 24 Frames reports Fox is developing a project called Zorro Reborn, a story that will take Zorro out of the historical California/Mexico setting and place him in a desolate post-apocalyptic world as a one-man vigilante force bent on revenge in the spirit of Sergio Leone.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Back as 'Terminator' for Director Justin Lin
Since his first return to show business in The Governator doesn't look all that impressive, Arnold Schwarzenegger will use an old standby to make a big splash back into acting. Deadline is reporting that the action superstar is attached to a rights packaged being shopped around Hollywood today that will have him back as The Terminator. Though no screenwriter is currently attached and it's not clear if this is simply a sequel or some sort of remake or reboot for the franchise, the project already has Fast Five helmer Justin Lin attached to direct for a package that would cost studios $25 million (maybe more) to pick up.

Really? Another New Red Band Trailer for Universal's 'Bridesmaids'
We've already seen at least two full trailers, lots of other TV spots and featurettes on Apple and elsewhere, but that's not stopping Universal from releasing yet another new trailer for their big summer comedy Bridesmaids, starring Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi Mclendon-Covey and Kali Hawk. This time it's a filthy red band trailer debuted on who-knew-they-were-still-around MySpace and it's actually funny, in spots, so give it a shot if you're still on the edge about this, as it might tip you one way (or the other). There's not much that makes it red band, at all, but enjoy anyway.

Watch: Today Now! Interviews 5-Year-Old Screenwriter of 'Fast Five'
Oh I really hope everyone sees the underlying joke within this, because it's so true! There's a hilarious video going around the web today showing an interview with Fast Five screenwriter Chris Morgan, but instead of the age-appropriate Hollywood writer you may be imaging, it's actually a 5-year-old kid. Get it? Good. Yep, this is credited to everyone's favorite comedic news source, The Onion. I'm not always the biggest fan, but sometimes they come up with some genius stuff and I have to say this is definitely one of those times. My favorite part: "oh, no spoilers!" And the part about sequels at the end. This is comedy brilliance. Enjoy!

Must Watch: Hilarious New TV Spots for WB's 'The Hangover Part II'
"It happened again." There are always a never-ending abundance of TV spots for every movie coming up in the next month, but I caught one last night while watching TV that I had to feature today. Warner Bros recently released four new TV spots for The Hangover Part II (you can watch the trailer here if you haven't yet) on YouTube and there's one that I think is just brilliant. The one I saw has Zach Galifianakis singing the "three best friends" song from the first movie but over top of some crazy footage. Who is that old Thai dude getting wasted?! This just looks wild and both TV spots make me really want to see it. Have fun!

Anthony Mandler Set to Direct 'Die in a Gunfight' Starring Zac Efron
Last July we found out that Zac Efron would be continuing to broaden his horizons as an actor by starring in the thriller Die in a Gunfight which appeared on the 2010 Black List. At the time no director was attached, but now we have someone to helm the project. Deadline reports music video and commercial director Anthony Mandler will make his feature directorial debut with this story about Ben (Efron), an underachieving, deadbeat son of a famous New York high-society attorney who gets himself in over his head when he falls for the daughter of his father's nemesis, a girl who is already busy being stalked by an obsessive French professor.

'Cyborg' Remake Coming from Original Film's Director Albert Pyun?
There's been plenty of remakes that we've complained about in the past, but when a filmmaker is looking to remake his own film over 20 years later, should we be nearly as upset? That's a decision you'll have to make for yourself as AICN has learned director Albert Pyun, the man behind the 1989 martial arts/sci-fi action flick Cyborg has been developing a remake of that very film. Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, the story follows a martial artist escorting a half-human, half cyborg woman in a plague-infested future whose programming contains a possible cure for a plague threatening to wipe out the entire population of Earth.
