First Look: Shockwave's New 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' Banner
July 1 in 3D. I love that this movie is so epic, and so much of a sequel, that it doesn't even need a tagline. Its tagline is its release date and the fact that Michael Bay is making this in 3D. Yahoo has unveiled a very wide new banner for Transformers: Dark of the Moon this time featuring a Decepticon that we haven't actually seen yet - Shockwave. In addition to that kick ass new banner, we've also added a new banner with Bumblebee and the original Optimus Prime one debuted late last week with the early footage buzz. I'm already sold on seeing this, show me no more. Check out all three of the new Transformers banners below!

Josh Brolin Joining Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling in 'Gangster Squad'
At the end of March we learned that Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn might be facing off in the gestating crime drama Gangster Squad at Warner Bros. However, when word came that Penn was going to star in The Last Photograph, it was said that he had turned down the offer to play infamous gangster Micky Cohen in the film. However, Deadline says the two actors have indeed entered negotiations to star in the film, and Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men) will join them. With Penn taking the criminal role, Brolin and Gosling will play two cops assigned to bring him down when his crimes leave blood on the streets.

Official Trailer for Mike Cahill's Sundance Sensation 'Another Earth'
"You don't know what's out there..." Damn, can Fox Searchlight really cut fantastic trailers. Earlier today we posted the trailer for The Art of Getting By, one of their four Sundance acquisitions that they've sold well with a great trailer. One of their others to feature today is Another Earth, directed by Mike Cahill, and starring/co-written by Brit Marling. This has such a wonderful sci-fi setup to it, but I've heard (since I haven't seen this yet) it's mostly in the background for the rest of the film. Anyway, this trailer for Another Earth will likely surprise and astonish everyone, so check it out when you get the chance, not to be missed.

Must Watch: New Trailer for Richard Ayoade's Indie Fave 'Submarine'
"You're too good for me, you're too good for anyone." It's finally here! The Weinstein Co. has released the official US trailer for Richard Ayoade's Submarine, the quirky but brilliant indie that took Toronto by storm when it premiered there last year. A big group of movie bloggers fell in love with it then and everyone who has seen it since has loved it (for the most part). Apple released the new trailer which we've got below. Submarine stars Craig Roberts as the 15-year-old Oliver Tate and he's a character you'll instantly love once everyone else gets an opportunity to see this. The music at the end is from the film, too. So damn good!

New 'Green Lantern' Character Poster Shines a Light on Tomar-Re
Though the first trailer for Green Lantern had some fairly sloppy special effects work and a tone that was just all over the place, the extended bit of footage from WonderCon that made its way online was just what the doctor ordered. And within those bits of footage and various stills, we've had a glimpse at Tomar-Re, a character which we recently learned would be voiced by Geoffrey Rush. Now the character is featured on his own poster for the film as he will be integral to helping Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) master his new powers, find the courage to overcome his fears, and defeat an enemy called Parallax. See the poster below!

Fox Searchlight Also Snags Sundance Select Film 'Sound of My Voice'
Back in January, in the midst of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, one of the acquisitions made by Fox Searchlight included the indie drama with a sci-fi twist Another Earth starring and co-written by Brit Marling. Now the distributor who gets amazing indie films to audiences everywhere has just picked up another great film with Marling's talents as Fox Searchlight has announced their acquisition of Sound of My Voice. While I never really found the time to write a full review for the film, it was absolutely one of my favorites at the fest, and currently sits within my five favorite films of the year so far. Story details below.

Freddie Highmore in the Official Trailer for 'The Art Of Getting By'
"Find something you've never had the courage to say before..." Fox Searchlight has debuted a trailer for The Art of Getting By, an indie formerly titled Homework, starring Freddie Highmore as a slacker and Emma Roberts, with Michael Angarano. I saw this charming coming-of-age flick at Sundance, with an all-grown-up (or at least high school age) Freddie Highmore, the kid from Finding Neverland, remember him? It was just okay, but since this is Searchlight, the trailer sells it really well, even I want to see it again. The embed is from MTV so, unfortunately, there's a mandatory ad - sorry. Otherwise, enjoy, it's pretty good!

Must Watch: Awesome New Trailer for 'The Troll Hunter' Unleashed
The Hunt is On! Magnet Releasing has debuted a kick ass new theatrical US trailer for The Troll Hunter, the documentary shot in the wilderness of Norway where a student filmmaking team caught live trolls on tape. No seriously, this movie is awesome, I saw it at Sundance and loved it. We've been following this for years and are happy to say it's finally getting released this summer! In honor of that release, Trailer Addict has the new theatrical trailer and although it's shorter than the others we've seen, it's an energetic trailer packed full of trolls, though it does show quite a bit. Watch it anyway, it's such an awesome film! Trolllll!!

Kate Beckinsale Will Likely Join Colin Farrell in 'Total Recall' Remake
Our hero and our villain have already been cast for the remake of Total Recall with Colin Farrell and Bryan Cranston taking each role respectively. Now it's time to fill out the other supporting cast members including two pivotal female roles. It sounds like one of them is close to being a done deal as Deadline reports Kate Beckinsale (Underworld, The Aviator) has been offered the part originated by Sharon Stone in the original 1990 sci-fi action film. Beckinsale would play Farrell's wife who turns out to be more than just his spouse when push comes to shove. If you don't know why this casting isn't surprising, keep reading.

Worth Watching: US Trailer for One-Shot Horror 'The Silent House'
IFC Films has debuted an official trailer for the upcoming release of The Silent House, or La Casa Muda, the original Uruguayan one-shot horror film that was remade with Elizabeth Olsen at Sundance this year. I actually saw the film at Cannes last year and thought it was good (I'm quoted on their website), but I didn't love it. Yahoo has debuted the new trailer and its a solid, thrilling tease that doesn't give away too much. If you're curious to see more from this, check it out, there's still plenty to experience actually watching it in theaters, especially because the movie does indeed unfold in "one-take". Turn off the lights and fire this up!

Robert Zemeckis Might Return to Live-Action Filmmaking with 'Flight'
After messing around with performance capture animation films like Polar Express, A Christmas Carol and Beowulf, it looks like Robert Zemeckis is finally ready to get back in the director's chair for a live-action film again. Deadline reports Paramount Pictures is in early talks with the director to helm Flight, an original story from Real Steel writer John Gatins. The story follows a commercial airline pilot named Whip Whitaker who is hailed as a hero after landing a malfunctioning plane that was close to crashing. However, an investigation into the cause of the crash reveals he was flying under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
