Director Gareth Edwards Chats About His Love for 'Godzilla' Movies
Just the other day, someone asked me "do you know what the guy who made Monsters is doing next?" Why yes I do, it's the new Godzilla in the works at Legendary Pictures. The "guy" is named Gareth Edwards and he's originally from the UK, we interviewed him last year, but now he's in town working on this big monster movie. If there are any die-hard Godzilla fans that are worried about this guy taking on this beloved sci-fi franchise, don't worry, this video proves he's your man. IGN posted a new interview with Edwards and he talks about all of the Godzilla movies and how the monster has evolved throughout history. Watch below!

Watch This: Red Band Trailer for Bateman/Reynold's 'The Change-Up'
Universal has debuted a raunchy new red band trailer for The Change-Up over on Moviefone, but it wasn't working on their website, so we embedded it below from them. It's another new classic body-switch comedy, this time involving Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds, a single man and a married man who... switch lives. This is basically a summer comedy offering for those tired of watching Reynolds in green (CGI) spandex and you know what, this actually looks really good. I love how they just let the comedy scenes play out, there's a lot of good chemistry between these two. And yes, that's Olivia Wilde in there, too. Have fun!

Check This Out: A Gorgeous New Mondo Poster for 'Pan's Labyrinth'
We've already seen a couple posters highlighting the films of Guillermo del Toro as part of Mondo's Director's Series, but another phenomenal one has just been revealed on SlashFilm. Aaron Horkey (who delivered a killer banner for True Grit last year) designed this very tall and beautiful poster for my favorite film from del Toro's career so far, Pan's Labyrinth. Mondo continually impresses me with the talent they gather for these special edition posters, and this release is no different. This fantastic poster was recently handed out at a special screening, but for those not in the vicinity, the print will also go on sale online soon.

Ben Affleck Will Now Direct & Star in 'Argo' Instead of 'Great Gatsby'
Almost two weeks ago we learned that Ben Affleck was in talks to play Tom Buchanan in Baz Luhrmann's take on the classic novel The Great Gatsby. However, it seems the actor's passion for being behind the camera has prevailed as Deadline reports Affleck will instead be directing Argo, a project which we reported on back in February. Apparently a schedule to allow Affleck to do both just couldn't be figured out, so he has opted not to take part in Luhrmann's film. In addition, SlashFilm noticed The Tracking Board says Affleck will also star in the aforementioned film that he'll be directing for producer George Clooney.

Interview: Morgan Spurlock Talks Product Placement & Making Docs
POM Wonderful Presents Alex's Interview! I'm kidding, I'm not sponsored by them (but I do love POM - get in touch!). He's traveled the world, put himself in danger, but for his next documentary, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock decided to explore his world of filmmaking by making a documentary about product placement, marketing and advertising, financed entirely by product placement, marketing and advertising. The result is The Greatest Movie Ever Sold and it was entirely funded by all of the sponsors seen on Morgan's body. I saw this at Sundance, but met up with Spurlock a few weeks ago in Vegas for an in-depth 20 minute chat.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Joining Adaptation of 'Rock of Ages' Musical
Though a recent Casting Tidbits informed you that Amy Adams wouldn't be taking part in Hairspray director Adam Shankman's big screen adaptation of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, another lovely lady has just joined the cast. THR reports Catherine Zeta-Jones will join the cast as a character who actually does not appear in the original musical. Shankman says, "It’s a character that we only really came to in the last month. The character was invented to streamline the stories.” As far as snagging the Chicago star for the role, the director said, “It’s like the musical gods just blessed us!" Paramount Announces 3D Showings of 'Thor' on IMAX Screens, Too!
If seeing the God of Thunder wield his hammer on the regular big screen in 3D just wasn't enough for you, then we have some good news coming your way. Paramount Pictures, Marvel Entertainment and IMAX have just announced that Thor will also be hitting IMAX screens in 3D when the film hits theaters on May 6th. Considering the epic visuals of Asgard, and the big special effects driven actions sequences, Thor should be quite the visual feast on IMAX screens, especially in 3D. If all goes well with this release, I'm will to bet we'll see news down the road that Captain America: The First Avenger, might also be in IMAX, too.

'Takers' Director John Luessenhop in Talks to Helm 'Leatherface 3D'
Towards the end of last year we heard that Twisted Pictures had set writers Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan (the team behind Conspiracy) to script another installment in the long-running Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. Leatherface 3D has been said to be a contemporary take on the chainsaw killer as a sequel to the remake from 2003 with the story being set 35 years after the events of Tobe Hooper's 1974 horror classic. Since then we haven't heard much about the project, but now Bloody Disgusting has gotten word that John Luessenhop, the man who brought us Takers, is in talks to direct the new horror. Gross!

Watch: Another New International 'X-Men: First Class' Trailer Hits
"Tomorrow, mankind will know that mutants exist." Fox recently unveiled yet another new international trailer for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class today via Empire that's actually still worth watching. This isn't the completely new second trailer we've been waiting for since the first one hit in February, but I fear we won't see too many more besides this. This trailer starts very much the same way, but has a bit more of an epic and a bit more of a British feel to it, with a focus more on Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and his power. I just can't wait to see this movie, it's going to be a hell of a superhero summer. Fire it up below!
