Check This Out: Mysterious New 'Test Subjects Needed' Viral Website
There's an interesting new viral going around now that may or may not be connected with an upcoming movie, but we're not sure, as it's kind of just coming together now. I was emailed recently with a photo of an ad (see below) from LA Weekly with a QR code linking to a website at: testsubjectsneeded.com. The site, which only really talks about Test Subjects Needed for a Human Preservation Project, features a basic sign-up form to become a "test subject." To get to that sign-up point, though, you must watch a very trippy, short Q&A video. "Self-actualization shimmers on the horizon ahead, and you are leading the way."

Watch: First Fun Musical Teaser for George Miller's 'Happy Feet Two'
"We're bringing fluffy back!" Ohh my, here we go again. Warner Bros has debuted the first teaser trailer for Happy Feet Two over on Apple, and yes it's totally ridiculous because we've got more singing penguins singing... terrible rap songs. Okay maybe I'm being too harsh because I don't really like this "franchise" but yes indeed, if you didn't forget, there's a sequel coming to the animated musical penguin classic, as this is all George Miller has been working on instead of the new Mad Max. I'm guessing most will enjoy this trailer, but what's with the fruity wool sweater over the "Two" in the logo? Have fun - Mumble and friends are back!

Watch: 'The Fuzzy Pack' Teaser - Another Amazing 'Muppets' Trailer!
"What's up with the pig and frog?" Last weekend, Disney pulled a trick on audiences by debuting a teaser trailer for a movie called Green With Envy, which part of the way through turned out to actually be for The Muppets. Now they've gone and done it again, as Yahoo has unveiled a new teaser trailer for The Fuzzy Pack which is playing attached to The Hangover Part II, in theaters this weekend. Obviously this ain't for any movie that's actually titled Fuzzy Pack, but it does star Kermit and Gonzo and Fozzie Bear. I actually think Disney has successfully overturned any chance of booing at Hangover with this brilliant teaser. Enjoy!

Disney Announces Theatrical Release of 'The Lion King' in Digital 3D
Last summer we learned that Disney was already in the process of converting The Lion King to 3D for an eventual theatrical release. By this time, Beauty and the Beast was supposed to hit the big screen for a 3D re-release of its own, but that's been pushed back to who knows when. Now THR reports The Lion King will actually be the first of Disney's 3D re-release efforts with their sights set on a September 16th, 2011 release. This also comes hot the heels of the official news that Titanic would be hitting theaters in 3D on April 6th, 2012. Is this be the start of another trend in 3D that will just take more money from audiences?

Must Watch: Hilarious Alternate Takes from Paul Feig's 'Bridesmaids'
In case you haven't heard, the new comedy Bridesmaids has been getting some rave reviews with fresh rating of 89% at Rotten Tomatoes and word of mouth spreading like wildfire. That's rare for a comedy, especially with a mostly female cast and a story that's simply a raunchy romantic comedy. But with the film doing so well, people can't get enough of the antics of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Jon Hamm and more. That's why Funny or Die has released a great series of alternate takes from the film with more wacky sex between Wiig and Hamm and great one-liners. But be weary, because this is NSFW. Have fun!

Will Ferrell Sits Down with Zach Galifianakis for 'Between Two Ferns'
Previously we've highlighted a surprising guest on the continuing online talks show series Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis when Sean Penn sat in the hot seat. The results were pretty hilarious, but how does our host fare when sitting across from the equally funny and comedically intimidating Will Ferrell? Well, since The Hangover Part II and Everything Must Go are both in theaters now, each has something to promote, so what better time for some conveniently timed hilarity as these two sit down for a charming chat. Just from Ferrell's wardrobe, you can see we're off to a good start already. See it below!

Illumination Entertainment Next Bringing Uglydolls to the Big Screen
Given the success Chris Meledandri's Illumination Entertainment has had at Universal, it's obvious he can pretty much do whatever he wants, including, it seems, adapting a popular toy franchise. Deadline reports that Meledandri and Illumination have acquired rights to adapt the Uglydoll franchise into an animated feature film. Think of those little yellow minions from Despicable Me, but as Uglydolls instead, hundreds of them running around - yea, that's why this was such an easy sell for them. Larry Stuckey (Little Fockers) is writing the script, inspired by the plush world and stories from the numerous Uglydolls books.

Watch: Funny New International 'Friends with Benefits' Trailer Arrives
Dois Amigos... Um Problema! If you really care to see another trailer for this raunchy summer comedy, an international trailer for Will Gluck's Friends with Benefits has popped up on YouTube (via ComingSoon) and is actually kinda funny. I can tell you this still looks vastly better than the last "friends with benefits" movie No Strings Attached, which is basically the exact same film this is. Friends with Benefits stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, with Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Andy Samberg, Rashida Jones and Patricia Clarkson. I think it's just director Will Gluck, he's getting better. Check it out, but it may be NSFW.

Tarsem Singh's 'Snow White' Moves Release & Finds Seven Dwarves
Recently we heard the competition between the two actively developing Snow White projects was heating up after Universal decided to move their Snow White and the Huntsman from its December 2012 release date to June 1st, 2012, putting it in theaters almost an entire month before Relativity Media's own Snow White tale from Tarsem Singh. Now THR says the untitled film formerly known as The Brothers Grimm: Snow White has decided to strike back by moving their release date to March 16th, 2012, and I seriously doubt Universal will be able to top that. In addition, the cast for the seven dwarves has also been revealed.

Casting Tidbits: Katrina Bowden, Jamie Chung, Kim Basinger & More
You go for a man hard enough and fast enough, he don't have time to think about how many's with him; he thinks about himself, and how he might get clear of the Casting Tidbits about to set down on him. First up, Variety reports "30 Rock" hottie Katrina Bowden has joined the cast of American Reunion, the fourth installment of the American Pie series. Bowden is playing Chris Klein's girlfriend who is a typical Los Angeles party girl, likely with him only because of his fame from some reality TV show. The film sees pretty much all the original cast members returning for their characters' ten-year high school reunion. Read on!

Bill Nighy and Jessica Biel Have Also Joined the 'Total Recall' Remake
The last bit of major casting we heard for the remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger's sci-fi action flick Total Recall had Kate Beckinsale pegged as one of the female leads set to collaborate again with her husband and Underworld director Len Wiseman. Now Collider has confirmed that Beckinsale has officially joined the cast, and that Jessica Biel has taken the other major female role in the remake. Beckinsale will play Lori, the wife of Farrell's protagonist character while Biel will play Melina, another character who might know him better than Lori. In addition, Heat Vision has learned Bill Nighy (Love Actually) has also signed on.

Jose Padilha Teams with 'Gran Torino' Writer for 'Tri-Border' Thriller
The Brazilian filmmaker is already slated to direct the long-gestating reboot of RoboCop, but now Jose Padilha has another project for his future slate as well. Heat Vision reports the Elite Squad director is set to helm a new thriller from Gran Torino writer Nick Schenk. Called Tri-Border, the film, being shot in English, takes place in the infamous lawless South American zone trisected by Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, where competing crime organizations and law enforcement agencies fight for the upper hand. Surprisingly, this has nothing to do with Kathryn Bigelow's Triple Frontier, that deals with the same setting.
