More Crazy Skull Action on the Latest Poster for 'Final Destination 5'
Death has never been closer. They might as well just re-use that tagline for the next (inevitable) sequel, too. Yahoo has debuted a new poster, potentially the "final" poster, for Final Destination 5, New Line's latest sequel in the you-can't-escape-death cheesy ass franchise. I think almost every poster for every movie in this series has had a skull on it, no actors either. That might've been a good idea at the start, but with skulls showing up as warnings on things like cigarettes, to me this is a clear warning sign to stay as far away as I possibly can. We already featured the first trailer for this back in May, so have fun with the new skull poster.

Must Watch: First Beautiful Trailer for Steven Spielberg's 'War Horse'
Across all borders, hope survives. Get ready for a stunning look at the new film from Steven Spielberg called War Horse, adapted from a book by Michael Morpurgo about a boy and his horse during WWI. I really had no idea what to expect, but this looks phenomenal, then again this is Spielberg film and it definitely has all of his wonderful hallmarks. I'm sold, I'll be there opening day. War Horse stars Jeremy Irvine, as the main character Albert, as well as Emily Watson, Toby Kebbell, David Thewlis and Tom Hiddleston. Enjoy!

Deadline reports the studio has just picked up Swear to God, a new comedy script from Due Date writers Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland with Ferrell attached to star and McKay attached to produce and direct. Will Smith Wants Denzel Washington in Katrina Drama 'American Can'
For the past couple years, super star Will Smith has been working hard to bring a Hurricane Katrina drama to the big screen. American Can is set to be produced by Smith, and while the actor was originally going to star in the film himself, Vulture reports that he's actually looking to get Denzel Washington attached to star in the film. The Blind Side writer/director John Lee Hancock is behind the script and the camera for this drama focusing on the real-life harrowing ordeal suffered by the residents of the American Can apartment complex when the levees broke down in New Orleans. And we know how that turned out.

Jean-Pierre Jeunet for 'Selected Works of T.S. Spivet' & 'Red Leaves'
His charming film Amelie has become a French favorite among cinephiles, but now director Jean-Pierre Jeunet is lining up two more projects, including one that will mark his first English-language film since the 1997 sci-fi sequel Alien Resurrection. Variety reports that film will be an adaptation of Reif Larsen's novel The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet, and it's expected to be his very next project. Meanwhile, Jeunet has also picked up the rights to Thomas H. Cook's novel Red Leaves. One fits right in Jeunet's wheelhouse, while one is a bit more gritty, but you can find more specific details on each film below.

Abrams sci-fi flick with a journey into the past for an adaptation of Mark Twain's classic adventures of Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn. Check These Out: A Couple Spectacular Unused Posters for 'Super 8'
Leading up to the release of Super 8, the fantastic love letter to Steven Spielberg from director J.J. Abrams, we saw a few great posters capturing the mystery and spirit of the films that inspired the touching, sci-fi story. However, with every film, there are designs and ideas that will never see the light of day, no matter how great they might have been. Thankfully, today two great posters that were designed for the film have made their way online by way of their artists, Daniel Skubal and his fiancé Veronica LaPage. The two were commissioned by Bad Robot to design a few posters, and while they weren't used, they're still fantastic.

This Final Poster for Ruben Fleischer's '30 Minutes or Less' is a Dud
From the director of Zombieland comes... this bland new poster! Our friends from IMPAwards have put up what they're saying is the "final" poster for Ruben Fleischer's new comedy 30 Minutes or Less, starring - as you can clearly see - Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride and Nick Swardson. It pains me to write about a poster so dull and unexciting as this, especially when it's supposed to be the final poster. What happened, Sony? This trailers have been awesome and even those first two teaser posters were great, but now they've just dropped the ball at the last minute. Check it out if you want, but there's not much to it.
