Watch: One More Sentimental 'Harry Potter - A Look Back' Featurette

Harry Potter - A Look Back

It's Harry Potter Week! So let's kick things off with a video that's going to be an emotional start for fans, but it's a great way to look back at how far we've come with this series. Warner Bros released another new featurette for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, in theaters on Friday, called Harry Potter - A Look Back on YouTube (via AICN). The five minute video looks back at Harry Potter and the world of witchcraft and wizardry over the years, from Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone in 2001 to Deathly Hallows: Part 2 this week. Without any distractions, it takes us on an epic journey through all eight movies.

Indie Trailer Sunday: Chris Cooper in John Sayles' War Drama 'Amigo'

Amigo Trailer

"No Lieutenant, you've got to make war on these people!" Today's indie trailer is for a war drama called Amigo, directed by filmmaker John Sayles. This is set during the Philippine-American War in the early 1900s and stars Chris Cooper as Col. Hardacre, as well as Garret Dillahunt, from "Raising Hope" and a very talented actor on the rise. The story is about American military occupying a village in the Philippines, and the relationships they have with the locals, including one specific amigo. This looks quite impressive, I'm very interested in checking it out, even though it has that overly-sleek digital camera look. Check it out!

First Posters for Guy Ritchie's 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows'

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Holmes and Watson are back! Yahoo has just debuted the first two official posters/banners for Warner Bros' upcoming sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, once again directed by Guy Ritchie and again starring Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as Watson. We already got to see a first look photo for this late last year, but with the first official trailer coming with Harry Potter later this week, it's time to start up the marketing for their December release. The two banners contain close-ups of Holmes and Watson, as well as glimpses of Jared Harris as Moriarty and Noomi Rapace as "Sim" in the background.

Michael Fassbender is Joining Brendan Gleeson's 'At Swim-Two-Birds'

Michael Fassbender

In case you weren't aware, actor Brendon Gleeson of such films as In Bruges and Green Zone has been looking to make his directorial debut for quite some time now with an adaptation of Flann O'Brien's 1939 novel At Swim-Two-Birds. Now it sounds like the project may finally be coming together to shoot in spring 2012, and the cast just gained a fantastic talent. Screen Daily spoke recently with Gleeson who revealed that X-Men: First Class star Michael Fassbender would be starring in the film. That's a great name to add to a passion project for Gleeson that has been in the works for a little over seven years now.

Watch: Yet Another Stunning 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' Trailer

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Intelligence. Compassion. Humanity. Yep, it keeps looking better and better. Another full-length trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, directed by Rupert Wyatt, starring James Franco and Andy Serkis as Caesar, has hit the web via Vlicious. Obviously as WETA finally finishes rendering the apes, everything looks more lifelike, but it's the emotions and expressions of Caesar that are starting to truly blow me away. It started with the first teaser trailer, got even better with the theatrical trailer, then came the amazing UK trailer and that TV trailer. Now we have one final fantastic theatrical trailer and it's a definite must watch.

'TDKR' Shooting at Alex's Alma Mater - Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh

The Dark Knight

What a coincidence - soon as I leave Pittsburgh, Hollywood moves in. They've been shooting a large number of films in/around Pittsburgh for the last few years, thanks to the tax benefits, and I had also heard that The Dark Knight Rises would be shooting portions there as well. However, thanks to a post on ComingSoon, I've learned they'll actually be shooting TDKR scenes at Carnegie Mellon University, my alma mater! The info comes from a post on CMU's blog (a bit spoilerish) talking about the shooting "Magnus Rex", the film's faux title. Oh how I wish I was still there, I would definitely sneak by the set and watch them shooting!

Must Watch: Peter Jackson's Second Superb 'The Hobbit' Video Blog

The Hobbit Video Blog

Time to geek out! Peter Jackson has just posted the second full 10-minute video blog for The Hobbit on his Facebook, and it's another must watch, just like the wonderful first one. This time, Peter brings in Andy Serkis, who plays Gollum but is also Second Unit Director, to guide us through their latest updates. They just finished 54 days of shooting, the first block of three, and have 200 more days left. This is all fascinating, especially about how he's in pre-, post- and full production at the same time. It's just so amazing to watch these video blogs, especially because we're still 16 months away from even seeing the film! Keep 'em coming!

Channing Tatum is returning and Dwayne Johnson recently joined the cast, as did Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona and RZA. Step Up 3D director Jon M. Chu will begin shooting the sequel in down Louisiana at the end of this summer.

New 'Straw Dogs' Poster Remembers How Reflections Actually Work

Straw Dogs

Last month, we got a look at the first poster for Straw Dogs, the remake of the 1971 film from director Rod Lurie. Considering the fact that the original poster has been regarded as one of the best of its time, apparently those who crafted the new poster just didn't think they could do any better and merely recreated the poster, but with James Marsden's glasses broken and Alexander Skarsgaard being reflected in them. But you can't have a reflection without glass, and while I would've preferred the whole poster be redesigned, a new version, with better real-life representation of reflections and glass has surfaced.

'The Dark Knight Rises' Teaser Trailer & Poster is With 'Harry Potter'!

The Dark Knight Rises

Briefly: It was just revealed by SuperHeroHype today that the very first teaser trailer and teaser poster for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, featuring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, will be coming with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 next weekend. The teaser is said to run 1:33 long, making us wonder if it will actually contain footage, or just audio like the first teaser for The Dark Knight. We expect the poster to be debuted online somewhere and the viral to kick up soon as well. That's all we've got on it for now, but as always, stay tuned here on FS.net as we'll be the first to post about these!

Review: Seth Gordon's 'Horrible Bosses' Has About a 70% Work Ethic

Horrible Bosses Review

The horrible boss. The universal, cinematic constant you can always be sure is going to rear its ugly head. The idea of the awful boss who puts a film's protagonist against the ropes at every turn is really nothing new. Neither is the idea of said protagonist turning the tables and fighting back, violently at times as seen in the hidden gem Swimming With Sharks. So, the premise of Horrible Bosses, the new comedy directed by Seth Gordon, is no revelation of narrative structuring. Neither is it a groundbreaking work of comedy. The jokes hit, maybe not as hard or as often as you might want, but when all is said and done
