Now that the first half of the line-up for this year's Toronto Film Festival has been unveiled, we can start to get our first look at what the fall film season is going to be like. First up, I had to feature these two first look photos for the new Duplass Brothers (The Puffy Chair, Baghead, Cyrus) comedy Jeff, Who Lives at Home. The indie comedy stars Jason Segel as Jeff, and includes in the cast: Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon. this is the story of one man searching for the meaning of life while running to the store to buy wood glue. Using the universe as his guide, Jeff looks for signs to help determine his path. Here is Jeff.

Darren's Timeless Memories - Viral Website for 'Paranormal Activity'?
Bring the Past... Into the Future. Last week the first official trailer for Paramount's Paranormal Activity 3 hit the web (watch here), introducing us to younger versions of the two sisters seen in the previous films. Around the same time that teaser trailer first hit, I started noticing cheesy printed flyers popping up around Comic-Con for Darren's Timeless Memories, a VHS-to-DVD conversion company run by some cheesy dude in sunglasses named Darren. It all seemed to make sense - VHS conversion, earlier footage - this has to be a Paranormal Activity 3 viral of some sorts. And if you visit the site, that definitely seems to be the case.

Watch: Full UK Trailer for Ben Wheatley's Hitman Thriller 'Kill List'
Who is on the Kill List? A full international trailer for an indie horror-thriller that has been sweeping the festival circuit hit the web recently and its about time we feature it. The film is called Kill List, directed by Ben Wheatley, and the trailer comes from Bloody-Disgusting. It's essentially about an ex-soldier turned contract killer who goes crazy and, well, some crazy shit goes down. The film has been receiving quite a bit of praise, including an 8/10 review from our own Jeremy plus an A- from indieWire. I'm still not sure what's even going on in this, but I'm certainly interested. Check out this eerie indie trailer if you haven't seen it yet.

Comic-Con 2011: Futuristic Weapons for 'Men in Black III' on Display
Despite some odd production delays and hiatuses, Columbia Pictures' Men in Black III is still in the works, and set to hit theaters May 25th, 2012 next year. While there wasn't a Hall H presentation for the sequel, Sony did plant some rather interesting Men in Black tidbits around Comic-Con. I caught a photo of the giant Neuralizer (above) in my Preview Night gallery, but it was our friends at SlashFilm who discovered the Studio Art Technology booth and got shots of a complete collection of weaponry used in the movie. A handful of futuristic prop guns, similar to the infamous weapons from the first two movies, were on display.

Watch: Trailer for J.C. Chandor's 'Margin Call' Financial Crisis Thriller
"It gets ugly in a hurry." Time to take a look at one of my favorite films of Sundance, the indie thriller Margin Call, written & directed by J.C. Chandor, about a 24 hour period revolving around the financial crisis - as boring as that sounds, it's actually pretty damn good. The film stars just about everyone: Zachary Quinto, Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Penn Badgley, Simon Baker, Demi Moore and Stanley Tucci. Roadside Attractions has debuted the trailer and I highly suggest checking it out, I'm a fan. The dialogue may be a bit cheesy, but it works well in the film and it's a great thriller, I recommend it.

'Limitless' Director Neil Burger to Helm New 'Bonnie and Clyde' Story
At the beginning of 2009 there was news about a new take on the story of outlaws Bonnie and Clyde with Hilary Duff and Kevin Zegers taking on the titular roles made famous by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway in Arthur Penn's 1967 film. However, we've yet to hear anything new on that project in over two years. But now Deadline has word on another project about the criminal duo as Limitless director Neil Burger will work with Up in the Air writer Sheldon Turner for an adaptation of Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde, a book telling a much less romanticized version of the story. Read on!

More 'Dredd' Photos from Empire Include First Look at Olivia Thirlby
I am the law! Ooh this is finally starting to look awesome, at least I think it might turn out pretty good. The latest "Heroes of 2012" issue of Empire magazine is packed with a whole bunch of new photos from the upcoming Dredd movie, starring Karl Urban as the new Judge Dredd. We just got a first look last week, but now we have multiple shots of Dredd kickin' ass, and a few other Judge's, including Olivia Thirlby as the young Judge Cassandra Anderson. The scans come from 2000AD/Bleeding Cool and are worth seeing, as this is looking better with more gritty shots like this. Though Dredd seems quite unhappy. Check 'em out!

Comic-Con 2011: Hugh Jackman's Surprise 'Real Steel' Event Photos
Just when Comic-Con was about to start, tweets started coming from the @RealHughjackman himself stating that he'd suddenly be showing up at Comic-Con and would be dropping by for a surprise Real Steel promo. On Thursday morning at around 11AM, Hugh Jackman rolled up to Petco Park with his Real Steel truck, two of the fighting robots (the purple one is Noisy Boy), and tons of swag, giveaways, and Australian charm. At first he took to the stage and greeted the crowd, talking about how he really wanted to stop by Comic-Con, then started to walk through the crowd giving out swag and signed posters to all the fans there.

Harrison Ford Will Play an Aging Wyatt Earp in 'Black Hats' Adaptation
More cowboys, but not any aliens, for Harrison Ford coming up. Ford stars in Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens, which hits theaters this weekend, but THR is reporting he's got another cowboy role lined up after. Ford is attached to star as an aging Wyatt Earp in Black Hats, an adaptation of Max Allan Collins' 2007 novel (written as Patrick Culhane) being produced by Thunder Road's Basil Iwanyk & Jason Netter. The project has a screenwriter - Kurt Johnstad (of Zack Snyder's 300, The Last Photograph) - but no director attached yet. It definitely seems like Ford is becoming more of a cowboy himself as he reaches 70 years old.

Comic-Con 2011: Final Set of Movie Geeks' Sunday Showfloor Photos
As is my tradition, I usually make one last run through on the Comic-Con showfloor on Sunday, primarily because it's the only other time I can actually make it on there besides Preview Night, and because I love snapping a few extra photos of cool stuff before the doors close until year. Tired as always, I still made my annual trek over to the showfloor one last time, albeit it briefly, to snap a few more photos. There's some shots of that Total Recall police hovercraft on display outside on the street. Plus plenty more, from Tintin collectibles to Captain America and Batman costumes and lots of props. Here's my final 2011 set of photos.

Watch: Newest UK Trailer for Fresnadillo's Horror-Thriller 'Intruders'
"It's here, it's inside." If you're looking for a bit of home invasion horror meets psychological thriller to kick off your week, then this trailer is definitely for you. Yahoo UK (via HeyUGuys) recently posted a brand new UK trailer for Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's new film Intruders, starring Clive Owen. The story centers on an 11-year old girl who's forced to confront childhood demons, but there's a lot more going on than just that, as this trailer hints at. I'm not really sure what to make of this yet, but it does look intriguing and I do want to see what Fresnadillo has been up to. Kerry Fox, Carice van Houten and Daniel Brühl also star. Check it out.
