Comic-Con Video Blog: 'Adventures of Tintin' is Pure Spielberg Magic
Yesterday, the San Diego Comic-Con hosted one of the best panels we've ever attended, a presentation for The Adventures of Tintin which included Steven Spielberg himself making his first-ever Comic-Con appearance, Peter Jackson appearing in person, and even a brief cameo by Andy Serkis. We covered the panel and discussion live, but they also showed some brand new footage from the film that impressed nearly everyone. We've seen an international trailer that looks good, but this footage looked so good that our own Ethan and Brandon met up to recorded a video blog talking about how great this film looks. Watch below!

New Red Band Trailer for Indie Horror Comedy 'Tucker & Dale vs Evil'
Evil just messed with the wrong hillbillies! Although I first saw this film at Sundance almost two years ago, I'm glad it's finally getting released this year because it's hilarious (read our review), one of my favorite Sundance horror comedies. IGN has debuted a brand new red band trailer for the indie comedy Tucker & Dale vs Evil, starring two funnymen Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine. We featured a trailer for this a long time ago, but for those who don't remember these two play peaceful hillbillies who get caught up in fiasco with a bunch of idiot teens, a typical horror story flip-flopped. It's a such great indie comedy, check this out!

Must Watch: Conan O'Brien's 'Flaming C' Gets Fantastic Movie Trailer
If there's anyone out there who doesn't pay attention to comedian Conan O'Brien and his self-titled TBS talk show "Conan," you're missing out on some great late night comedy. In addition, you're probably also unaware that Coco heading over to Warner Bros. animation studios awhile back and had his own superhero created called The Flaming C. Donning everything from fishnets to an oven mitt, the superhero is one of the greatest defenders of justice the world has ever seen. And this year at Comic-Con, the hero invaded the "Green Lantern: Animated Series" panel with an awesome trailer for a computer animated feature film.

Universal Pays Big for R-Rated Comedy with Seth Rogen & Zac Efron
After Universal enjoyed the surprise box office success of Bridesmaids and New Line enjoyed a moderate, on-going return on Horrible Bosses, both of the studios were eager to get their hands on another successful R-rated comedy. Deadline reports the two were involved in quite the bidding war for a new untitled comedy with Seth Rogen and Zac Efron attached to star in the film, and Universal has come out on top. The studio has snagged a script from writers Andrew Cohen and Brendan O'Brien (who both produced Funny People for Judd Apatow) in a seven-figure deal, an unusual pricetag for a raunchy comedy. Read on!

Comic-Con 2011 Live: Francis Ford Coppola Unveils His Horror 'Twixt'
Our final live blog from the depths of Hall H at Comic-Con 2011 happens this morning, covering the very intriguing and mysterious panel that brings legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola back to the Con after being here years ago for Bram Stoker's Dracula. The panel is for Twixt, which we saw the first photo from a few days ago. Coppola and acclaimed musician Dan Deacon present sequences from Coppola's new horror film, TWIXT, and involve the audience in a dress rehearsal of the completely unique and innovative way they plan on performing it. That's the official description for it, I'm curious to see what this is all about.

Andrew Garfield's Amazing, Heartfelt Comic-Con Spider-Man Speech
If you didn't hear, yesterday's Comic-Con panel for Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man began when actor Andrew Garfield, who plays Peter Parker, appeared in a cheesy Spider-Man costume at the microphone where fans normally ask their questions. It seemed as if he wanted this to be his first reveal as Peter Parker to the fans because this was his first time at Comic-Con and he's as big of a fan of Spidey as us, "so here I am as a fan," he said. He then started speaking about his love for Spider-Man and how he "needed Spidey in my life" and went on to give one of the best speeches I've ever heard anyone give at Comic-Con. Watch it below.

Sound Off: Marvel's 'Captain America: The First Avenger' - Thoughts?
Now that you've seen it, what did you think? Arriving in theaters today is Marvel Studios' fifth movie, Captain America: The First Avenger, our final introduction before The Avengers, and their first period piece taking place in WWII. At the helm is none other than director Joe Johnston, who cast Chris Evans to bring Steve Rogers to life on the big creen and transform him from a skinny Brooklyn kid into the hero who'll lead the Avengers next year. So how is it? One of the best Marvel movies? Is it entertaining or just boring? If you've seen it, leave a comment below with your own thoughts on Marvel's Captain America.

Comic-Con 2011 Live: Sony's Hall H 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Panel
One of the most anticipated presentations at Comic-Con 2011 is the Sony/Columbia Pictures panel, which includes discussions and early looks at four movies back-to-back, culminating in the big reveal of The Amazing Spider-Man. The first official teaser trailer just debuted earlier this week, but given this is the unveiling of the film, we might see/hear more, so definitely follow along. In addition, the other movies being featured are Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, the comedy 30 Minutes or Less, and Len Wiseman's sci-fi remake Total Recall. We'll be live blogging from Hall H non-stop for the full hour-and-a-half panel.

Comic-Con 2011: First Impressions of 'The Raven' with John Cusack
Earlier this week one hell of a splatter appeared in the form of a new poster for the forthcoming period thriller The Raven with John Cusack playing iconic writer Edgar Allen Poe. This week Relativity Media brought the first trailer for to Hall H at Comic-Con 2011 with James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Ninja Assassin) in tow to talk about the film. Taking cues from Sherlock Holmes, the filmmaker is attempting to craft a suspenseful murder mystery in the form of a fictional story taking place in the last five days of Poe's life, but it seems like a half-hearted copycat narrative that just didn't impress me upon first inspection.

Watch: First Great Trailer for Soderbergh's 'Haywire' with Gina Carano
They left her with no choice. After kicking the ass of Comic-Con's Hall H, Relativity has released the first official trailer for Steven Soderbergh's Haywire, his action movie starring MMA fighter Gina Carano. The cast in this is incredible: Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Michael Angarano and Bill Paxton. The action in this was designed to be realistic, as if these two people were actually fighting in person, and it's brutal and intense, but looks badass. I have a good feeling this might be one of the best action movies of next year, even though it hits in January. Check it out!

Steve Carell, Jack Black & Nicolas Cage Join Charlie Kaufman's Next
The last we heard anything about a new project from writer/director Charlie Kaufman was his forthcoming reunion with director Spike Jonze for some kind of indie satire. However, it sounds like Kaufman's gestating show business based film Frank or Francis will take off first after landing at Sony last year. In addition, Deadline reports that the film will star Steve Carell and Jack Black have joined the cast, and the film will reunite the Adaptation writer with that film's star Nicolas Cage. Considering this will be Kaufman's sophomore effort as a director following the fantastic Synecdoche, New York, I'm excited.

Marvel is releasing a series of posters for The Avengers, character posters that are hand-drawn artwork that they're giving out at their Comic-Con booth all weekend. They've already released Iron Man and Captain America, but now they've unveiled the new posters for Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and they're pretty cool.
