Check These Out: Mondo's Gloriously Epic New 'Jurassic Park' Posters

Jurassic Park Posters

Mondo has made a Jurassic Park poster?! Yes indeed they have. It might not be everyone's favorite (Peter Sciretta from /Film doesn't like it at all) but Mondo has debuted a new poster designed by Aaron Horkey made for the latet Mondo Mystery Movie event that the Alamo Drafthouse hosted last night in Austin, TX. You may remember they did a Mondo Mystery event for Akira which result in a magnificent poster as well. Last night's Mondo Mystery screening was indeed Jurassic Park and here's the poster they gave out to go along with it. Not my favorite either, but I wish I was there last night, too! See Aaron's two variants below.

More Nostalgia Arrives in 'American Reunion' Photo Booth Slideshow

American Reunion

We've already had a somewhat official first look at the nostalgic and presumably raunchy comedy sequel American Reunion by way of a set photo calling back to the original American Pie, but now we have some fun, more polished photos that really bring back fond memories of teenage life. In a photo-booth style slideshow, cast members from the new sequel like Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott and even Eugene Levy pose and make silly faces like it was prom again. In addition, there's a great high school reunion photo with the original cast posing as the Class of 1999. See all the pictures below!

Watch: Latest UK Trailer for Bennett Miller's 'Moneyball' Even Better

Moneyball Trailer

"Adapt or die." Another new trailer for Bennett Miller's Moneyball adaptation has arrived, this time it's an official UK trailer, courtesy of MSN UK (via Collider). This is the third full-length trailer we've seen for Moneyball, and it's a lot of the same, but there's some new stuff in this and it's one of the best trailers yet. Brad Pitt stars as Oakland A's manager Billy Beane, along with Jonah Hill, Robin Wright and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I really think this movie looks fantastic, it's the emotion and the heart and all those scenes at the end that get me every time. Can't wait to see this, one of my most anticipated. Fire it up below!

Amy Adams Wanted for Lead in American Remake of 'The Orphanage'

The Orphanage / Amy Adams

We haven't heard much about the long gestating remake of the 2007 Spanish horror film The Orphanage since Mothman Prophecies director Mark Pellington stepped up to replace Larry Fessenden who stepped off as director. No new talent has been mentioned for the project since, but now Bloody Disgusting has word on who might step in front of the camera for the lead role. Apparently New Line recently talked with Amy Adams (Enchanted, The Fighter) about playing Laura, a woman who takes over the orphanage where she was raised, to open a home for disabled children. That's when things take a strange turn.

Coen Brothers' Next Film to Focus on 60's Folk Music in New York City

Coen Brothers

Previously, there were rumblings from 24 Frames that revealed the next film from Joel and Ethan Coen would be partly based on Dave Van Ronk's memoir The Mayor of MacDougal Street which chronicles the author's time as a larger-than-life presence with a blustery personality to match his big frame, who is known for the famous folk-music haunts and mentoring musicians such rising talents as Bob Dylan. Now Variety has word that the film will be called Inside Llewyn Davis, and the story will actually follow the struggles of the title character as a folk musician during the genre's 1960's heyday in NYC.

Watch: First Green Trailer for 'Captain Planet' Starring Don Cheadle

Captain Planet

Just last month we found out that Cartoon Network and Transformers franchise producer Don Murphy and his Angry Filmworks production banner were teaming up for a live-action film adaptation of the cartoon series Captain Planet. Well, the turnaround on that project seems to be pretty damn quick as we have the first trailer where everyone's powers combine to summon Don Cheadle as the titular environmentally sound superhero. Of course, it looks like Captain Planet may have a bit of a dark side as he takes it upon himself to keep the planet green and healthy. You'll see what I mean in the trailer below!

Watch: English Trailer for Luc Besson's Animated 'A Monster in Paris'

A Monster in Paris Trailer

"He's not a monster!" This isn't directed by Luc Besson, but it is produced by him. A new English-language trailer has debuted recently via TIFF's YouTube for A Monster in Paris, a 3D animated adventure about a monster who lives in a garden in Paris and his love for a beautiful, young singer. The English voice cast includes Vanessa Paradis, Catherine O'Hara, Danny Huston, Adam Goldberg and Bob Balaban. This actually looks quite fun, it reminds me of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs in a way. I don't like re-dubbing with English actors either, but it doesn't look as bad as Arthur and the Invisibles. Check out this trailer below!

'Flipped' Star Callan McAuliffe Joining Baz Luhrmann's 'Great Gatsby'

Callan McAuliffe

The actor showed some true talent with his turn in the charming coming-of-age romance Flipped and even pulled his weight in I Am Number Four (even if the film wasn't all that impressive). Now young Callan McAuliffe is poised to make his star rise a little higher as Variety reports the actor will play a young Jay Gatsby in Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel The Great Gatsby. With Leonardo DiCaprio playing the older version of the titular character, McAuliffe certainly has his work cut out for him to measure up to the caliber of the elder Gatsby, but I think he's got the talent to pull it off.

First Spoilery Trailer for 'The Double' with Richard Gere, Topher Grace

The Double Trailer

"It's Cassius, he's back. The official trailer for The Double, a taut espionage thriller, has debuted on Apple, but I don't suggest watching it unless you want the movie ruined. The Double stars Richard Gere and Topher Grace as two FBI agents who go on the hunt for a legendary Soviet assassin named Cassius who is presumed to be dead, but "they discover he may not be the person they always thought him to be." The cast includes Martin Sheen, Stephen Moyer and Odette Yustman. Sadly, the trailer reveals, in plain sight, the big twist in this, so if you don't want to know, stay away. Otherwise, this doesn't seem half bad.

Richard Linklater Set to Helm 'Young Republicans' Starring Paul Dano

Richard Linklater

Last October, it was reported that Shia LaBeouf was looking to star in College Republicans, a film that would tell the story of young Karl Rove (former White House Deputy Chief of Staff) as he vies for the position of chief campus conservative under the guidance of one Lee Atwater (the late, former Chairman of the Republican National Committee) as his campaign manager. At the time LaBeouf was said to be interested in playing Rove in the film, but now The Wrap has learned There Will Be Blood and Little Miss Sunshine star Paul Dano has snagged the role, and director Richard Linklater will be directing the film.

New Promo Art for 'The Avengers' Has Surfaced with the Whole Team

The Avengers

Back during Comic-Con , we got our first official look at The Avengers by way of a huge concept art banner that was released piece-by-piece. Not only did the image give us our first look at Hulk, but it also included Nick Fury and Black Widow fighting alongside the rest of the team. Now we have a couple more spectacular team shots in the same vein as the illustrated concept art, and they look pretty kick-ass. In addition, there's a new concept art image of Loki as well as an interesting image of Nick Fury that kind of looks like it belongs on the back of an action figure box. You can check out all the new images below!
