Must Watch: First Badass Trailer for 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance'
The world's darkest hero rides again! Columbia has launched the first teaser trailer via Apple for Mark Neveldine/Brian Taylor's new Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, once again starring Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider. Oh hell yes, this is the reveal I've been waiting for everyone to watch since Comic-Con! This is why I think this movie looks badass, no matter how bad the first one was, they've brought this right back to where it should be. I love that it's pretty much nothing but hardcore, gritty action, and I love some of the shots, like the camera going backwards off the cliff - incredible. You've got to see this!

Official Trailer for Terrible-Looking New 'Hellraiser: Revelations' Hits
"You opened it, summoned us, we came." Dimension Extreme has unveiled the official trailer via B-D.com for their new sequel Hellraiser: Revelations, a low-rent direct-to-DVD horror inspired by Clive Barker's classic. I didn't even know a new Hellraiser flick actually made it into production, but after watching this trailer, I wish I could've kept it that way. This looks like student filmmakers trying to make an homage to Hellraiser, I can't believe this is a real movie made by a studio. Revelations stars Steven Brand as the new Pinhead, with Daniel Buran, Jolene Anderson and Nick Eversman. You've been warned - this looks terrible!

Review: Craig Gillespie's 'Fright Night' Makes Vampires Cool Again
The 1985 Fright Night is not the embodiment of a classic. A cool, hip vampire tale, the love for it — and likewise, the decries of shame on its remake — seems built on nostalgia, an admiration and the definition of "classic" that only means it's at least 20 years old. There was room for improvement, which is precisely why the 2011 Fright Night works for the most part. It updates the story to the modern age, transports the setting from big city suburbia to the desert-based developments outside of Las Vegas, and shakes the narrative structuring up to avoid that lived-in feel. What's more, the cast is made up of some top notch

Interview: Actor Jason Momoa - Our Badass New Conan the Barbarian
"I live. I love. I slay." He's the new badass in Hollywood, not only playing Conan the Barbarian in the latest remake, but also kicking ass on HBO's "Game of Thrones" as Khal Drogo. His name is Jason Momoa and his acting history includes "Baywatch", "North Shore" and "Stargate: Atlantis", but he's breaking out big this year, as those two aforementioned roles have earned him quite of bit of buzz just for being a badass. I had the opportunity to interview Momoa recently and I had a blast talking with him. He had a beer in hand the whole time and we chatted about everything from playing a "man's man" to acting without any dialogue.

Watch: Teaser Trailer for Tsui Hark's 'Flying Swords of Dragon Gate'
Time for some quick, morning wuxia action. MCN via The Playlist has found an official trailer, which I would call more of a teaser trailer, for Tsui Hark's new martial arts epic The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, starring Jet Li as well as Zhou Xun, Chen Kun, Li Yuchun, Kwai Lun-mei, Louis Fan and Mavis Fan. The film is a remake of King Hu's Dragon Gate Inn (1966) and Raymond Lee's New Dragon Gate Inn (1992) and was shot in 3D. There are some very interesting shots in this, I thought it was worth featuring today. Check out that final scene with the huge sand tornadoes. Not exactly sure what's going on, but it looks cool!

Producer Discusses New 'Blade Runner' + How They Got Ridley Scott
Earlier today, a fanboy bombshell hit the web when it was revealed that Ridley Scott would be returning, confirmed, to direct a new Blade Runner movie following his work on the sci-fi Prometheus. That original report was, unfortunately, rather vague regarding whether it would even be a prequel or sequel, but we now have some info on where this new movie is headed. 24 Frames on the LA Times posted a story including quotes from Alcon Entertainment producer Andrew Kosove, the company/man responsible for the Blade Runner rights and hooking Ridley Scott, explaining how it all went down and little hints at what it will be.

Robert Downey Jr. Dishes on the Shane Black Approach to 'Iron Man 3'
Since February of this year, we've know that Kiss Kiss Bang Bang director Shane Black would be at the helm of Iron Man 3, and while writer Drew Pearce was hired by Marvel to script the sequel, Black is also heavily involved on the writing side of things as well. Since then, we've heard that the film would be similar to a Tom Clancy-like thriller where Iron Man faces off against villains that are more true to real-life. Now franchise star Robert Downey Jr. has recently opened up to Hero Complex to talk about Black's approach to the film, and how both of them are so completely in tune with each other as collaborators. More below!

Watch: Official Trailer for 'Machine Gun Preacher' with Gerard Butler
"Don't tell me to calm down!" Relativity Media has debuted the official trailer for Marc Forster's Machine Gun Preacher, starring Gerard Butler as the real-life Sam Childers, a former gang biker turned hero who finds Jesus and goes to Sudan to fight for orphan children and build them an orphanage. The cast also includes Michelle Monaghan as his wife, Michael Shannon as his friend, Madeline Carroll as his daughter, and Souleymane Sy Savane as SPLA's Deng. This looks not only quite action-packed, but very emotional as well. I'm impressed, this is a great trailer, I really want to see this now. Even Butler looks good!

Check This Out: First 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' Teaser Poster
Oh yea, this is going to rile up a few of you. Or should I say fire up. Ha - anyway, Columbia has unveiled the first official teaser poster for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, the Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor reboot of the Ghost Rider series, with Nicolas Cage back, too. The poster comes from ShockTillYouDrop, but it's not much, it's something we've even seen before - at Comic-Con (I want to see those other posters!). All we get this time is just a flaming hand and chain, and the tagline: "He Rides Again. 2012." Okay, sounds good, but when do we get to see that flaming skull on a poster? That's what I want to see! Anyway here it is:

Watch: Teaser Trailer for Winterbottom's 'Trishna' with Freida Pinto
Ohh Freida Pinto, she gets me every time. Revolution Films has unveiled a teaser trailer, a rather charming and pleasant non-dialogue teaser, for Michael Winterbottom's Trishna, starring Freida Pinto and Riz Ahmed. The romantic drama is a unique spin on Tess of the D'Urbervilles, set against a contemporary Indian backdrop. Pinto stars as the titular Trishna, a young woman who is seduced by the wealthy son of a property developer. As the romance develops, their relationship becomes increasingly sordid and volatile. It's quite a lovely trailer, beautiful, could describe it, but be warned it's very contemporary Indian. Enjoy!

Tony Scott is Now 'Eager' to Remake 'The Wild Bunch' for Warner Bros
Lots of news from the Scott family today. Not only did Ridley Scott make headlines with another Blade Runner, but Tony Scott is now lining up another project, too. Deadline is reporting that Tony Scott, who is gearing up to also work on Hell's Angels for Fox 2000, is now "most eager" to direct the Warner Bros remake/reboot, revealed earlier this year, of The Wild Bunch, the 1969 Sam Peckinpah-directed Western that starred William Holden & Ernest Borgnine. Tony Scott's last film was Unstoppable, and he's got tons of other projects lined up, including another Top Gun and that Hell's Angels film, but this could take priority.

Brian De Palma to Direct 70's Throwback Thriller 'The Key Man' Next
Though back in January we heard that Scarface director Brian De Palma would direct Passion, a remake of the French languge thriller Crime d'amour (or Love Crime). However, we haven't heard anything about the project since then, and it's still been four years since De Palma delivered his last feature film which was the military drama Redacted in 2007. Now Deadline has word that the filmmaker will be at the helm of a new thriller called The Key Man from writer Joby Harold. The story follows a single father who's targeted by U.S. government agents because his body contains answers to important national secrets.
