Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy Team Up for 'ID Theft' Comedy
After her breakout, scene-stealing performance in Bridesmaids, actress Melissa McCarthy snagged a role in Judd Apatow's new comedy starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann (reprising their roles from Knocked Up) and she might reteam with Paul Feig for another comedy with Jon Hamm. However, Deadline has word on McCarthy teaming up with another leading man with the actress joining Jason Bateman in a Universal comedy called ID Theft. The story originally followed a guy who gets his identity stolen by another man, but now it will be McCarthy stealing Bateman's identity as the script was retooled specifically for her.

Walton Goggins Latest to Enlist in Jon M. Chu's 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation'
Even more casting for the upcoming G.I. Joe sequel. Variety is reporting that actor-on-the-rise Walton Goggins, last seen in Cowboys & Aliens, Robert Rodriguez's Predators, and on FX's "Justified", has joined the cast of Jon M. Chu's G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation, which is finally the official title of the sequel. As for who Goggins is playing, they only state his character's name - Warden Nigel James. We recently learned Bruce Willis would be joining the G.I. Joe 2 cast as well, playing General Joe Colton, the original G.I. Joe, in the film. Chu is rounding up some fantastic names for this cast, I'm actually getting interested in it, I must say.

Check This Out: Gerard Butler's New Poster for 'Machine Gun Preacher'
Hope is the great weapon of all. Relativity Media has finally unveiled an official poster on IMDb for Marc Forster's Machine Gun Preacher, starring Gerard Butler as the real-life Sam Childers, a former biker tough guy who finds religion and travels to Sudan where he becomes a local hero, building an orphanage and defending orphaned kids from being killed. We've been hearing about this film for a while, and just saw a first look at Butler a few weeks ago, so maybe we'll get a trailer soon, too. He's got quite a badass stance on this, defending his domain behind him. It looks pretty good, I'm interested. Check out the full poster below!

Mark Wahlberg Could Possibly Replace Bradley Cooper in 'The Crow'
Just this past April, some surprising news revealed that Limitless and The Hangover star Bradley Cooper was in talks to take the titular role in Relativity Media's remake of The Crow from director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. However, with Cooper recently snagging the lead in The Silver Linings Playbook adaptation from David O. Russell, plus Alex Proyas' big screen take on Paradise Lost following immediately after, Heat Vision says the actor had to leave the project behind. However, Mark Wahlberg has again surfaced as a candidate after being originally rumored last October, and one other contender has also emerged. Read on!

First Look: Charlize Theron in New Jason Reitman Film 'Young Adult'
Late last year, it was announced that filmmaker Jason Reitman (Thank You for Smoking, Juno, Up in the Air) would be directing another Diablo Cody script called Young Adult, which was put into production and shot by the end of the year. We finally have an official first look photo, thanks to SlashFilm, and if you like Charlize Theron, you better take a look. Theron stars as a successful young adult novel writer who returns to her home in small-town Minnesota, looking to rekindle a romance with her ex-boyfriend, now married with kids. The cast also includes Patrick Wilson, Patton Oswalt and Collette Wolfe, but they're not pictured.

Watch: International Trailer for 'Faces in the Crowd' with Milla Jovovich
She saw the killer's face, but it keeps changing... I promise you that's the tagline - right off of this poster! A new trailer hit the web today via Bloody-Disgusting for a horror-thriller film called Faces in the Crowd, starring actress Milla Jovovich as a woman with "face-blindness" who loses recognition of faces. This is pretty trippy, but unfortunately looks like made-for-SyFy cheap crap, which explains why we haven't really heard of it before now. The supporting cast includes Julian McMahon, Sarah Wayne Callies, Michael Shanks and Marianne Faithfull. Here's my favorite line: "You don't know my face, you don't know anyone's face!"

Brad Pitt in Talks to Lead James Gray's Adaptation of 'The Gray Man'
Back in November of 2010, the adaptation of The Lost City of Z from director James Gray fell apart after star Brad Pitt left the project because of how little the filmmaker was going to be paid for the project. Then the next day it was said that the actor was considering both adaptations of Cogan's Trade and The Gray Man as potential projects. Since then we haven't heard anything about Pitt being attached to the latter project, but earlier this year we heard that Gray was taking on the project as his next directing gig. Now we've come full circle as Variety reports Pitt is now in talks to officially take the lead role of an assassin.

Alex Pardee's Spectacular Edgar Wright Triple Feature Poster Unveiled
As if his spectacular films like Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World weren't enough to make me love director Edgar Wright, the man himself also just loves movies and consistently delivers them not only through his own talents, but also special screenings and movie marathons at places like the New Beverly in LA. Well, this time the filmmaker is heading to a marathon of his own films up in San Francisco at the Castro Theater, and there will be a special treat available for attendees. Alex Pardee has crafted a great poster specifically for a triple feature engagement of Wright's aforementioned films.

Watch: A Collection of the 25 Greatest Unscripted Scenes in Movies
While much of the greatness of any given film begins with the words on the pages of a screenplay, there are still plenty of amazing moments in cinema that come from actors' improvisation. While many associate the idea of improv with comedy, even great dramas have sublime moments of spontaneity that make certain scenes truly memorable. Thankfully, YouTube user Mewlists (via Movies.com) has made a video chronicling what they believe to be the 25 Greatest Unscripted Scenes in Films. It's not definitive as there are certainly some great ones that didn't make the cut, but this really is a fine collection of great improvisation.

Del Toro Says Alfonso Cuarón's Sci-Fi 'Gravity' Will Be 'Mind-Blowing'
Oh yes. Next year is a big year for movies, but one of them I've been anxiously awaiting is Children of Men director Alfonso Cuarón's new sci-fi film Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. We've heard bits and pieces about the project, that it's about a "lone survivor of a space mission" who must float through space to find her way home, and that there might be some very long one-shots. While Cuarón has been quietly shooting the last few months, nothing else has come out until now. Guillermo del Toro, of all people, recently visited the set and spilled the beans to MTV about how "mindblowing" and "insane" it'll be.

Marvel's 'Runaways' Stalled Because of 'Avengers', But Still Coming?
Over three years ago it was announced that Marvel would be bringing their fantastic comic book series Runaways to the big screen. As of May 2010 the adaptation was slated to go in front of cameras with Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist director Peter Sollett stepping up to helm the feature. However, that plan never came together, and now we know why. While speaking at Empire Big Screen 2011 across the pond, comic book and screenwriter Drew Pearce revealed that the big push for The Avengers meant that the lesser known ensemble comic book adaptation had to sit on the backburner, but there's still hope.
