Watch: Amusing 'No Pants' Viral Video for 'Puss in Boots' Unleashed

Puss in Boots No Pants

"Built to keep you well ventilated." For anyone that has asked how Puss in Boots gets away with wearing just boots, and no pants, here's your answer (sort of). DreamWorks Animation has released a viral video (via Deadline) for their upcoming animated feature Puss in Boots that has Puss himself, voiced by Antonio Banderas, addressing an issue very dear to his heart. This is quite an amusing video that they seemingly put together for fun, but I'm sure YouTube crowds will love it. If you haven't seen the newest Puss in Boots trailer, you can watch here, it looks quite good. This is only 30 seconds, so have fun with the no pants video!

Bryan Cranston to Write and Direct Adaptation of 'Home Again' Novel

Bryan Cranston

The actor's already crafted a fine career, mostly gaining the highest acclaim for his work on the AMC series "Breaking Bad," but also for great supporting performances Saving Private Ryan, Little Miss Sunshine and a reportedly fantastic turn in Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive in theaters later this year. Now it sounds like Bryan Cranston is looking to step behind the camera for a new project as Hollywood.com talked to the actor on the set of Len Wiseman's remake of Total Recall where he revealed development of an adaptation of David Wiltse's novel Home Again, a project which he would be writing and directing himself. Disney Interested in Director Mark Romanek for the New 'Cinderella'

Mark Romanek / Cinderella

So this is love. Interesting news to report on, as Deadline is saying that Disney is pursuing director Mark Romanek, of One Hour Photo and Never Let Me Go, for their new upcoming Cinderella project. We first heard about this revised on Cinderella last year, when Disney paid over a million to buy writer Aline Brosh McKenna's (of Devil Wears Prada, 27 Dresses) Cinderella pitch, a live-action re-imagining of that classic fairy tale. Romanek has no deal yet, of course, but they say he is "moving toward one and the picture is a priority for the studio." Choosing him might seem odd at first, but I'm all for it, Romanek is a great director.

Watch: Second Official Trailer for Craig Brewer's 'Footloose' Dances In

Footloose Trailer

A time to be free! Paramount has debuted the second official trailer for Craig Brewer's Footloose remake, starring Kenny Wormald as the new Ren MacCormack. The first trailer for this remake seemed to throw a lot of people off, but this new one is a good improvement and shows off more of the talents of Wormald and the sheer fun of this flick. The cast also includes Julianne Hough as Ariel Moore, Miles Teller as Willard and Dennis Quaid as the strict father. I've seen this new Footloose and I will stay true and say that it's a great remake (read more here), it deserves to be given a chance even if you're a die-hard fan of the original.

Watch: 'Star Wars: The Complete Saga' Blu-Ray Release Second Trailer

Star Wars Blu-Rays Trailer

In a distant galaxy, a long time ago, Luke Skywalker assembles his motley crew of allies including space rogue Han Solo and two "droids" - C3PO and R2D2 - to rescue Princess Leia, the rebel leader, from the clutches of the evil Empire. Aw yea, it's almost time to get the long-awaited Star Wars saga, all six movies, on Blu-Ray. I grew up with Star Wars, it's the foundation of my love for sci-fi. I'm looking forward to finally owning the Star Wars: The Complete Saga Blu-Rays, as I'm a huge BR collector and have been waiting to see these in high def since wearing out our VHS tapes years ago. It's a short new trailer, but check it out!

John Landis Shooting a New Monster Movie in Paris Within Two Years

John Landis

Though his dark comedy film Burke & Hare starring Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis didn't exactly land with pomp and circumstance, you can't deny the great work of director John Landis on great films like An American Werewolf in London, Animal House, Blues Brothers and more. Even though his work as of late has left something to be desired, when the man behind the Michael Jackson's music video Thriller says he's going to venture back into horror, it's time to listen. Bloody Disgusting talked to Landis who revealed he's writing a new monster movie with Alexandre Gavras son of legendary Greek filmmaker Costa-Govras.

Must Watch: Killer New TV Spot for Refn's 'Drive' with Ryan Gosling

Drive TV Spot

"I don't carry a gun... I drive." FilmDistrict has recently started showing TV spots for Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive, and one of them has hit the web via TheMovieBox. The best part about it, is that even their TV spots for this are as nearly perfect as the film itself. I love that pink logo - brilliance. Ryan Gosling stars as the driver, Bryan Cranston as his handler, and Albert Brooks as the dirty mobster. This film deserves all the coverage it can get, it's currently my top favorite of 2011, it's that damn good. In addition to this TV spot, I've added the sleek new UK quad poster at the bottom. Check out both below and go see this!

Fincher Says His '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea' Movie to be 70% CGI

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Despite all his recent work at Sony, David Fincher is indeed still lined up to direct Disney's new 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea movie, that he was attached to last year. Details have been vague and Fincher has mentioned it off and on, so we know he's still toying around with it. Well, SlashFilm just posted a clip from an Actors Studio Q&A at the Swedish Film Institute with Fincher, and he answers a question about 20,000 Leagues and potentially using performance/motion-capture, since that technology seems to be on the rise these days. Plus, Fincher is a technical CGI genius, as we all saw watching Benjamin Button come together.

Duncan Jones Vaguely Mentions New Sci-Fi Film Connected to 'Moon'

Duncan Jones

Since January brought news that his next gestating sci-fi film Mute was stalled, we haven't heard much about Duncan Jones' back-up project in the same genre that would also pay homage to Ridley Scott's classic film Blade Runner. We've seen some cool concept art from the film that centers on a woman whose disappearance causes a mystery for her partner, a mute bartender, who is forced to go up against the city's gangsters. However, what we hadn't heard previously is that Mute is connected to the same universe as his excellent debut film Moon, and the same can be said of this other mysterious sci-fi project as well.

Jonathan Demme Set to Adapt Stephen King's New Novel '11/22/63'

11/22/63

The author has seen plenty of his novels turned into feature films and TV miniseries (we just heard about a new adaptation of The Stand from Harry Potter franchise duo David Yates and Steve Kloves), and now one of his yet-to-be-published novels has already picked up a movie deal. Variety reports Silence of the Lambs director Jonathan Demme has optioned the film rights to 11/22/63, a new novel from King which will hit shelves on November 8th. This will be Demme's first film since the Rachel Getting Married in 2008, and with a time travel-centric plot, this will be the director's first foray into the science fiction genre. Read on!

Watch: Latest Official 'Father of Invention' Trailer with Kevin Spacey

Father of Invention Trailer

"All I need is one good idea that puts me right back on top." Anchor Bay has debuted the latest official trailer over on Hulu for Father of Invention, an indie dramedy about Robert Axle, an eccentric inventor played by Kevin Spacey. I'm not that familiar with this film, it never hit any film festivals as far as I know, but it looks okay, and it has Kevin Spacey as a crazy old bearded dude, which is the best part. Though I find it kind of odd that Camilla Belle plays his daughter and Heather Graham one of her "young" friends. The cast also includes Virginia Madsen, Craig Robinson, John Stamos and Johnny Knoxville. Check it out!

First Look: Leonardo DiCaprio as J. Edgar Hoover in Eastwood's Film

Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar

As the face of law enforcement in America for almost 50 years, J. Edgar Hoover was feared and admired, reviled and revered. But behind closed doors, he held secrets that would have destroyed his image, his career and his life. This fall, Clint Eastwood is opening those doors in J. Edgar, starring Oscar nominee Leonardo DiCaprio as J. Edgar Hoover. EW's Fall Preview includes a new first look image and despite the many set photos taken for this, this one is an official photo of DiCaprio delivering a Hoover speech. Though I know there's plenty more to see coming up, this is still a great first look and enough to keep me intrigued.
