Back in June it was reported that impressive names like Alec Baldwin, Shia LaBeouf and Rooney Mara were all in talks to take roles in an untitled film about industrialist Howard Hughes from actor-turned-director Warren Beatty. New 'Tangled Ever After' Short in Front of 'Beauty and the Beast' 3D
Some good news for fans of Disney's late 2010 animated musical Tangled (like me!) starring the magically long-haired Rapunzel, it's getting a follow-up in the form of a short titled Tangled Ever After that picks up where the movie left off. Disney announced today (via ComingSoon) that the short will play in front of Beauty and the Beast in 3D, hitting theaters early next January 13th, in 3D of course. The first movie featured the voices of Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider, and earned an impressive $200 million at the box office and even has an 89% on RT. It's one of my favorites, I loved it too!

Bruce Willis & Forest Whitaker Double-Crossing in 'Catch .44' Trailer
While some movies are merely doomed for store shelves as a straight-to-DVD/Blu-Ray release, there are a few that are good enough to spend a little bit of time in theaters. One of those movies is Catch .44, a darkly funny action thriller starring Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker and Malin Akerman which will hit New York and Charlotte, NC theaters (only) starting December 9th and will then be available on Blu-Ray & DVD on December 20. Whitaker and Willis seem to be having a lot of fun in this double-cross drug deal gone wrong, at least from the looks of this trailer, and Akerman at least looks pretty as usual. Watch below!

Watch: First Trailer for Paul Weitz's 'Being Flynn' with Robert De Niro
"You are me, I made you!" Focus Features has debuted the first riveting official trailer via Apple for Paul Weitz's Being Flynn, an adaptation of Nick Flynn's memoir "Another Bullshit Night in Suck City", starring Robert De Niro and Paul Dano as an odd, alienated father and son pair. The cast includes Julianne Moore and Olivia Thirlby and looks to be a rather intriguing drama about two writers, with lots of yelling and some quieter emotion, too. I wasn't expecting this, but it looks surprisingly good, give it a shot. I have a feeling writers will connect with this more, but I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks of this. Take a look!

Doug Trumbull Wants to Make a 120FPS 3D Space Adventure Movie
I just love reading that kind of crazy (sci-fi) headline, it's one of those that makes you go "what?!" instantly. The story comes from a few new interview quotes posted on Bleeding Cool found via our friends at The Film Stage. Douglas Trumbull, aka Doug Trumbull, is a legendary special effects creator/producer/filmmaker who's worked for Stanley Kubrick, Terrence Malick, Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg. He's now 69 years old but still pushing along, even trying to revolutionize cinema as we know it today, which is exactly what he explains in the interview with Bleeding Cool, while mentioning a space project he wants to make. After being at the helm of the final four films in the successful Harry Potter franchise, director David Yates is now looking to take on a longer-running British pop culture icon for the big screen treatment. Variety has word that the filmmaker is working with the BBC to turn the sci-fi TV series Doctor Who into a film franchise. Brad Pitt Looking to Step Away from the Acting Game in Three Years
Everyone knows the old saying about quitting while you're ahead, and it sounds like international superstar Brad Pitt is looking to do just that. In an interview with the Australian version of "60 Minutes" (via The Guardian) the actor dropped quite a bomb when the interviewer asked just how much longer he plans on acting. Very quickly, flatly and seriously Pitt replied, "Three years." So it sounds like we've only got a handful of films left to keep the actor on the big screen. Of course, Ocean's 11 franchise collaborator Steven Soderbergh has talked about retirement as well, but that doesn't seem like a sure thing yet. More below!

Must Watch: Full Trailer for Gary Ross' 'The Hunger Games' Movie!
The games will change everyone. Lionsgate is ready to unleash the first full trailer via Apple for Gary Ross' highly anticipated adaptation of The Hunger Games, starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, the girl from District 12 who competes in the annual Hunger Games. The first teaser trailer hit back in August, and while we get a glimpse at the grim world this takes place in and some of the training at the Capitol, we don't get much fighting yet. Hunger Games also stars Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Elizabeth Banks as Effie, and Woody Harrelson Haymitch, and Willow Shields as Prim. Fire this up!

Must Watch: Another Fantastic TV Spot for Fincher's 'Dragon Tattoo'
"This is really gunna hurt..." The more we see, the better this looks and the more excited I get. I caught this TV spot last night and its turned up online thanks to ComingSoon. Another new 60-second long TV spot for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has started airing and it's focused more on Lisbeth Salander, played incredibly well by Rooney Mara, then delves back into the mystery storyline with Daniel Craig and Christopher Plummer. This isn't the first TV spot that we've featured or that's airing, but it's a damn good one, showing how Fincher can take just about any story and make it look even more compelling.

Back in late 2009 we highlighted the exploits of the The Art of the Title Sequence, a fantastic website dedicated to stylish opening and ending credits sequences that bookend the films we all now and love. Lots of New 'Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol' Posters & Billboards
No Backup, No Contact, No Plan, No Choice. Get ready, Ethan Hunt is back! I was driving around L.A. this weekend and caught both of these billboards on display, so they're definitely starting up marketing. A few sites have been gathering these new billboards for Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, one from MTV, another found on IMPAwards, where they've also pointed us to Kinopoisk for a new set of character banners similar to the first billboard. They had two more posters for Léa Seydoux and Vladimir Mashkov, as well as Tom Cruise, Paula Patton, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner. Check these out!
