Jason Clarke Lands First Role in Kathryn Bigelow's Bin Laden Project

Jason Clarke

Wysocki's back! Aussie actor Jason Clarke, who kicked ass on Fox's outstanding but sadly cancelled series "The Chicago Code" playing Jarek Wysocki, is the first to be officially cast in Kathryn Bigelow's upcoming Osama Bin Laden hunting SEAL team project, formerly known as Kill Bin Laden and numerous other codenames. Deadline says that Clarke is the "first actor set" and will play a terrorist hunter in service of the U.S. efforts to hunt Bin Laden. Many big names, from Tom Hanks to Johnny Depp, have been mentioned before, but word is Tom Hardy, Guy Pearce and others are all up for roles, in addition to Clarke. Whoa!

Max Irons Signing Up for Andrew Niccol's Adaptation of 'The Host'

Max Irons / The Host

Just yesterday Percy Jackson and the Olympians star Jake Abel signed on for one of two lead male roles in the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel The Host, a sci-fi departure from her vampire fare. A few actors were in the running like Liam Hemsworth, Kit Harrington and Jai Courtney and Max Irons (Red Riding Hood) for the other role and now the EW reports Irons will play Jared Howe, a character whom Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan) falls in love with before she's captured by the Souls and implanted by one called Wanderer, one of the more infamous of the species because she has attached herself to so many "hosts."

The Muppets Bollywood

Have you watched any of the numerous trailers for Disney's The Muppets recently and been thinking to yourself, boy, this just seems like a Bollywood movie? Well to confirm your suspicions, we have another new parody trailer, this time from Empire over in the UK. "You'll never guess who's taking over Bollywood!" Yep, it's a fun little Bollywood song-and-dance number, and even though we've seen a lot of these parody trailers, this comes in at just under 50 seconds, so you've got to watch it no matter what! Must Watch: First Trailer for 'Snow White and the Huntsman' Arrives

Snow White and the Huntsman Trailer

"Bring me your heart, my dear dear Snow White." Universal has debuted the first intense trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, directed by Rupert Sanders, their dark and twisted take on the Snow White fairytale, starring Kristen Stewart in the titular role. Chris Hemsworth stars as the Huntsman, who of course looks like a badass, and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen. The cast includes Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan and Lily Cole. I'm honestly impressed, this looks unlike anything I was expecting, but pretty damn cool, especially that mirror part. You'll definitely want to see this!

'Harold & Kumar Christmas' Director Next Taking a 'Family Getaway'

Todd Strauss-Schulson

Back in May, before his successful comedy Bad Teacher even hit the theaters, director Jake Kasdan was said to be at the helm of a new action comedy at Warner Bros., but now it seems the studio is interested in the success of a director from their sister company New Line Cinema. Heat Vision has word that A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas director Todd Strauss-Schulson is in talks to direct Family Getaway, the story about a family that discovers its patriarch is an assassin when a rival killer shows up, turning a vacation into a cross-country car chase. National Lampoon's Vacation meets Mr. and Mrs. Smith? Sounds like fun to me.

Watch: Latest Trailer for Soderbergh's 'Haywire' with Gina Carano Hits

Haywire Official Trailer

They can't stop her. Relativity has debuted another brand new trailer on EW.com for Steven Soderbergh's Haywire, the sorta-action revenge drama thriller starring MMA fighter Gina Carano. The film recently premiered at the AFI Fest to mixed reactions; I saw it there and didn't think it was that great, but the fights are good. The supporting cast includes Michael Fassbender, who gets into quite a tussle with Carano in the beginning, as well as Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas and Bill Paxton. The only problem is besides all the action in the trailer, there's not much more to the film.

'A Thousand Words' Trailer with Eddie Murphy is a 'Liar Liar' Copycat

A Thousand Words

Honestly, after hearing that Eddie Murphy had dropped out as the Oscar host following Brett Ratner's controversial resignation as the broadcast's producer, I was disappointed we wouldn't be seeing the actor in some sort of stand-up comedy format. But then the trailer for his new comedy A Thousand Words debuted today, and the Liar Liar rip-off made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. Now I'll be avoiding this movie at all costs, hoping The Muppets end up replacing him as Oscar hosts, and weeping for the days Murphy used to have a funny bone in his body about 20 years ago. Watch the trailer below if you dare!

David Schwimmer Going Dark as Killer in Ariel Vromen's 'The Iceman'

David Schwimmer

After playing the neurotic and feeble Ross Geller on "Friends," actor David Schwimmer hasn't had much to keep him busy besides directing Run, Fatboy, Run and providing his voice for the animated Madagascar franchise. Now the director is making a rare turn to the dark side as Variety reports he will play a mob killer in The Iceman, an indie drama from director Ariel Vromen. The film follows Michael Shannon as the titular killer, Richard "The Ice Man" Kuklinski, a mafia hit man who murdered more than 200 people. In addition Ray Liotta and Maggie Gyllenhaal have also signed up since the project was revealed last year.

Watch: Funny Pre-Viz of NPH's Musical in 'Harold & Kumar Christmas'

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

Last night we featured a fun behind-the-scenes video featuring the crew of A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas in 3D (the film is truly an irreverent comedy that will be around for many Christmases to come), but now we have something that actually gives us a peak behind the curtain at the outrageous flick. Director Todd Strauss-Schulson (@TheRealTSS on Twitter) just keeps the goodies coming, and his latest treat is a pre-visualization video storyboard of the showstopper musical sequence that Neil Patrick Harris, John Cho and Kal Penn brought to life. But before that, the sequence was crafted just as you see it below!

Midnight Shows for Bousman's '11-11-11' Arriving on Thursday Night

11-11-11 Movie

It's almost here, if you're afraid of repeating 1s, watch out as this Friday is 11-11-11. Perfectly timed to hit theaters is Darren Bousman's new horror-thriller about the 11-11 phenomenon and demons taking over the world that very day (uh oh) that's aptly titled 11-11-11. I received an email with information on midnight showings running tomorrow night, late Thursday night, for the opening of the film. A select 13 cities have been chosen for the midnights; we've got listings for all of them below. There's even an 11:11PM showing at Universal CityWalk in LA if you're around and want to dare the supernatural. Who knows what will happen?
