First Tidbits of 'The Dark Knight Rises' Viral Found in a CIA Bulletin?

CIA Bulleting - Viral?

Alert! Dr. Leonid Pavel is wanted by the CIA, he went missing after working at a Russian nuclear facility, but has re-appeared recently and is a "high priority." So what do we have here? Wired (via SuperHeroHype) is claiming to have some interesting Central Intelligence Agency documents, a bulletin to be exact, that are part of the very first pieces, tidbits so to say, of a viral for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, which has had threads of a viral before but not much. On top of that, Empire has posted another memo, a transcript of an interview, that also somehow connects in with everything. So what does it all mean, Basil?

Adam Sandler Lining Up His First Sequel with Another 'Grown Ups'?

Grown Ups

If the Three Stooges trailer wasn't enough to convince you that 2012 just might be the end of the world after all, Variety is now reporting Sony Pictures and Happy Madison Productions have hired Grown Ups writer Fred Wolf to script a sequel to last year's  summer comedy starring Adam Sandler and his friends David Spade, Chris Rock, Kevin James and Rob Schneider. Looking at the fact that the film is Sandler's highest grossing film to date, it's not surprising that Sony would want a follow-up, but as of now Sandler is not entirely sold on the project and his involvement is still contingent on the likely terrible script to come.

THR's New 'The Time is Now' Lenticular Andy Serkis Oscar Ad Cover

The Time is Now

I guess the time really IS now. I received an email with a link to a video of the cover of an upcoming issue of The Hollywood Reporter, the print edition (they still have one?). The cover is unique because, not only is it an Oscar ad supporting Andy Serkis for Best Supporting Actor in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but it's a holographic lenticular ad, as you move the image the face morphs from Andy to Caesar and back. It's pretty damn cool. I'd actually love one of these (hey THR!) to see in real life. We just wrote about the launch of Fox's "The Time is Now" Oscar campaign for Serkis, which is getting a bigger push coming up, it seems.

Watch: Hilarious Trailer for Nick Stoller's 'The Five-Year Engagement'

The Five-Year Engagement Trailer

"This is why we do not delay weddings." Universal has debuted the first official trailer via Yahoo for Nick Stoller's The Five-Year Engagement, a new romantic comedy starring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt as a couple who get engaged, but then we follow as their engagement turns out to be five years long, hence the title. How funny! I'm actually a fan of Nick Stoller, I think the movies he directs (like Forgetting Sarah Marshall) are damn good and hilarious, and this looks the same. The supporting cast includes Rhys Ifans, Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, Kevin Hart, Mindy Kaling and Chris Parnell. It's quite funny, take a look.

Armie Hammer Joins Eric Bana in Sheldon Turner's 'By Virtue Fall'

Armie Hammer

With The Lone Ranger is back on track with Armie Hammer still on board to play the titular character along with Johnny Depp as Tonto, its clear that The Social Network and J. Edgar star will be quite busy over the next couple years as Deadline reports yet another project for the actor. Hammer will take on a bit of a darker role in By Virtue Fall, the directorial debut of Up in the Air writer Sheldon Turner. The film follows an ATF agent (Hammer) framed for corruption and sentenced to time in a maximum security federal prison. But prison turns him hard, and upon release, he seeks revenge on the man who put him there.

Sad Story of Wrestler Chris Benoit Heading to Theaters in 'Crossface'

Chris Benoit

Back in 2007, a shocking and truly tragic news story made headlines when professional wrestler Chris Benoit murdered his wife and 7-year old son before hanging himself. Now the story of the troubled wrestling star is heading to the big screen as Deadline reports SRG Films is developing Crossface, a film based on Matthew Randazzo V's book Ring Of Hell: The Story of Chris Benoit and the Fall of the Pro Wrestling Industry. The film will follow Benoit's life in the WWE, the struggles he endured and how the combination of drug use, depression and head trauma led him to become a ticking time bomb of instability.

Watch: Second Official Trailer for 'The Iron Lady' Starring Meryl Streep

The Iron Lady Trailer

"No matter how hard I've tried, I know I will never be truly one of them." The Weinstein Co. has debuted the second official US trailer for Phyllida Lloyd's The Iron Lady, the film starring Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher. Unlike the last British trailer, this one is all serious, all drama, and damn does it look excellent. I think it really hit me with the scene where all the UK flags can be seen on display, this looks riveting. Jim Broadbent co-stars as her husband Denis Thatcher, and the cast includes Anthony Head, Roger Allam and Nick Dunning. I really think this looks like it could be fantastic, give it a chance, check it out below.

See Rooney Mara, Brad Pitt and More As Cinema's Iconic Bad Guys

Touch of Evil - Brad Pitt

Not too long ago, a fantastic photo set surfaced with various actors and actresses taking on characters in various Martin Scorsese films like Taxi Driver and Good Fellas. Recreations of some of cinema's finest characters and scenes get a whole new image and feel with new talent stepping in, and a new video gallery from The New York Times is no different. Alex Prager has crafted Touch of Evil, "a video gallery of cinematic villainy inspired by nefarious icons and featuring the best performers from the year in film" including Brad Pitt as Eraserhead, Rooney Mara as Alex from A Clockwork Orange and more.

Don't Watch: First Teaser Trailer for Farrelly Bros' New 'Three Stooges'

The Three Stooges Teaser Trailer

"Did you get a haircut?" Well, here they are, your new Three Stooges of 2012 - Will Sasso, Sean Hayes and Chris Diamantopoulos as Curly, Larry and Moe. 20th Century Fox has unveiled the first official teaser trailer via Apple for the Farrelly Brothers' comedy event of 2012, The Three Stooges, a revival of the classic comedy trio from the 20s, somehow redone in 2012 without being funny at all. There's all the typical gags, jokes, slaps and everything, even Nuns in bikinis, as you'd only expect from the Farrellys. This looks about as unfunny, uninspired and unexciting as one could imagine. Risk watching it only if you wish.

Michael Bay Might Return for 'Transformers 4' - Anyone Surprised?

Michael Bay

Yep, we knew it would happen. After all, whether you liked it or hated it, Transformers: Dark of the Moon did make a whopping $1.12B worldwide, meaning Paramount will do anything to make sure he comes back to keep the series going. Even though Bay once said, just a few months ago, "I am currently not talking to Paramount on T4 and T5 despite reports," Vulture is reporting that "Michael Bay is in final negotiations to direct a new Transformers film," presumably following making his "small" film Pain and Gain. Bay has provided a not-so-clarifying response to this already (see below) but it's no surprise he might be returning.

Odd Viral News Broadcast Video from 'Dragon Tattoo' Found Online

Dragon Tattoo Video

"But will they uncover the crime... or was it a crime at all?" If you haven't been following the ongoing The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo viral on Mouth-Taped-Shut, there's been some fantastic stuff being found by fans. I saw photos of Lisbeth's leather jacket and heard someone found Lisbeth's "f-you" shirt recently. However, there's one update today, oddly from EW, that many people have been telling me about. It's an 80's news broadcast, on VHS, of a Hard Copy episode about the Vanger family murders in full 9-minute glory. You've all seen the 8-minute trailer, now watch the 9-minute news video that ties everything together.
