'John Dies at the End' & Three More Films Added to Sundance 2012

Sundance Film Festival

We've already gotten a look at the detailed, complete line-up of films heading to Park City, Utah for the 2012 Sundance Film Festival which myself and Alex Billington will be covering in the middle of January next year. However, the Sundance Institute has just added four more films to their roster including the very strange and peculiar, wild and trippy looking film John Dies at the End, a film starring Chase Williamson and Rob Mayes, and also includes Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman and Doug Jones. See the trailer right here and see the other three last minute Sundance selections below!

New Trailer for '21 Jump Street' Starring Channing Tatum & Jonah Hill

21 Jump Street Trailer

"Mom, we don't have time for chores right now!" Time for something on the lighter side to follow-up all the other trailers today! Columbia has debuted another official trailer on Digital Spy for their upcoming comedy 21 Jump Street, based on the 80's TV show, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as two cops who go undercover at a high school. We already saw one hilarious red band trailer for this, and this new trailer features a lot of the same footage from that, just edited down and cleaned. It only changes in the second half, when Ice Cube goes over the rules for the 21 Jump Street undercover team. Have fun with this trailer!

Dark New Poster for David Cronenberg's 'Cosmopolis' with Pattinson

Cosmopolis

How far can he go before he goes too far? Whoa, this is quite a spectacular teaser poster for an independent film that otherwise takes place on the ground, inside of a limousine for the entire time. Kino Gallery (via Collider) has a new poster for David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis that indeed stars Robert Pattinson, but who isn't even seen on the poster. This is the film about a multimillionaire and his 24-hour odyssey across Manhattan in a stretch limo, just for a hair cut. I love this design though, the global view of the Manhattan skyline in a deep blue, just something appealing about it - and gladly Pattinson's face isn't on it. Take a look!

Watch: First Official Trailer for 'Wrath of the Titans' Fully Unleashed

Wrath of the Titans Trailer

Feel the Wrath! Warner Bros has finally unveiled the first official trailer via Apple for Jonathan Liebesman's Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to the 2009 remake of Clash of the Titans. Sam Worthington returns as Perseus to fight some more Gods and mythical creatures of all sizes, both monstrous and gigantic. This trailer definitely makes this look a lot more action-packed, way more intense throughout, almost something else entirely from Louis Leterrier's remake, which is awesome to see. That moment where that huge stone building slides past them looks amazing and I'm not even sure what's going on. I'm impressed, give it a shot!

Watch: First Preview of Footage for Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus' Trailer

Prometheus Trailer Preview

This is one of those "preview for the preview", a quick 30-second teaser to let you know that in three days, the first official trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus will be out. In the meantime, this gives us a glimpse at some of the footage, some behind-the-scenes, with a brief commentary by Ridley Scott himself. This is similar footage to what we saw at Comic-Con last year, but even less, though this is still exciting to see. I'm looking forward to seeing Ridley Scott dive head first back into the sci-fi genre. Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba and Logan Marshall-Green all star. Take a look!

Marc Webb Talks New Story & Universe in 'The Amazing Spider-Man'

The Amazing Spider-man

Coming only five years after the end of Sam Raimi's take on Spider-Man, audiences have been wondering just what kind of film we can expect with The Amazing Spider-Man, the franchise reboot from director Marc Webb. The teaser poster recently released touts "The Untold Story," and while that doesn't seem possible since the story of Spider-Man has been told countless times in comic books, TV series and films, Webb recently spoke with Empire (via Comic Book Movie) about how the story and universe offer a different feel for the wallcrawler so that this new film isn't simply a remake of the franchise from the last decade.

Steve Zaillian

Though you may better know his work on screenplays like Schindler's List, Gangs of New York and American Gangster, not to mention Oscar buzzworthy writing on both Moneyball and David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, writer Steve Zaillian has also stepped behind the camera a few times with films like Searching for Bobby Fischer, All the King's Men and A Civil Action. Clive Owen and Mia Wasikowska Offered Roles in 'Oldboy' Remake

Clive Owen / Mia Wasikowska

Normally we don't like to report on just potential casting when offers have only gone out to prospective talent, mainly because there are plenty of actors who get offered roles before a talent finally settles down for the project. But with the holidays just around the corner, the news flow is slowing down, even though we have some big trailers for The Dark Knight Rises and The Hobbit hitting later this week. So here we are with news from Twitch reporting that Clive Owen and Mia Wasikowska have both been offered roles in the gestating remake of Oldboy from director Spike Lee which already has Josh Brolin set to lead the film.

Daniel Craig Reportedly Wanted for Five More James Bond Sequels

James Bond

Audiences won't see the return of James Bond to the big screen until Daniel Craig reprises his role as Agent 007 in Skyfall, the sequel currently shooting overseas with a planned release in November of 2012, but there's already talk about the British actor staying on duty for several more films, and making a historical impression on the franchise. People.co.uk (via ComingSoon) recently spoke to Bond franchise produce Michael G. Wilson who said that he would like Craig's run on Her Majesty's Secret Service to last a total of eight films, just long enough to surpass Roger Moore's current record of starring in seven total films.

Watch: Two New TV Spots for Andrew Stanton's 'John Carter' of Mars

John Carter of Mars

"Fate has brought you here John Carter." Disney has debuted a set of new TV spots for Andrew Stanton's John Carter (of Mars), starring Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Willem Dafoe and Mark Strong, among many others. Each one 30 seconds, but Yahoo has combined them into one video. We've seen plenty for this movie already, the most recent trailer being a vast improvement on the first teaser, but I know most aren't excited for this in the least. I think these TV spots give us a better idea of the action and how fantastic the CGI is starting to look. I'm still looking forward to this, as I love sci-fi no matter what. Check these out!

Check This Out: Sacha Baron Cohen's 'The Dictator' Teaser Poster

Sacha Baron Cohen as The Dictator

Meet "The Dictator" - we don't even need to know his name. While this first teaser poster for The Dictator, starring Sacha Baron Cohen, was originally debuted with the first trailer last week, we never featured it then, so here it is now (via IMPAwards). In fact, I just love this poster, I think it's hilarious and such an iconic image to go along with this otherwise wacky comedy. The footage doesn't look exactly like I expected it to, but I still think this is a good poster to share with you guys anyway. I love the characters Sacha Baron Cohen creates, I just hope the "story" around them is worthwhile. Anyway, see the painting in full below!
