Awesome Red Band Trailer for Quentin Dupieux's Tire Flick 'Rubber'
Little tire. Big Dreams. Magnet Releasing has just debuted an awesome new red band trailer for
Mr. Oizo's Quentin Dupieux's experimental killer tire movie Rubber, that we've admittedly been hyping up quite a bit recently. Yes, if you didn't know, this movie has plenty of gory R-rated content, which is why this trailer is a must watch, even though I don't tell many people to actually watch this wacky film. Unfortunately, it comes from Hulu which means only those in the US can watch, and only those who are logged in - sorry guys! That said, if you can watch this trailer, I suggest checking it out because it's so frickin' crazy and awesome. Enjoy!
Watch the new red band trailer for Quentin Dupieux's Rubber:
In the Californian desert, an incredulous audience gathers to watch a telepathic tire's adventures that are mysteriously attracted by a beautiful lady. An investigation begins. Their official site - rubberfilm.com.
Rubber is written and directed by French filmmaker Quentin Dupieux, aka Mr. Oizo (who is a well-known French music producer), who has a few other indie films under his belt including Nonfilm and Steak. This first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year and was eventually picked up by Magnet Releasing for distribution. Rubber arrives in limited theaters starting on April 1st this spring. Anyone curious to see it?

It's pretty good. Gets my seal of approval. The exploding body parts are deecnt in it.

i just wasted 1:55 of my life on this - and that's it. this movie is a perfect example that PT Barnum was right!

Yeah, this looks more like some kind of joke or short comedy. Maximum Overdrive made more sense than that. Visionary director my left nut.

This has to be a straight to DVD movie! I'd be shocked if this goes to theaters, it's too bizarre, but fun to watch at home.

They say that Hollywood has run out of original ideas. This proves that it hasn't. It's only run out of GOOD original ideas. Can I ask for a refund on the two minutes that I just wasted?

This actually looks... pretty dumb! Never going to watch this!

Eh.. I liked the concept when I first heard of it, but seeing a trailer ruined that feeling.

Surreal sweetness. We need more insanity like this.

I MUST WATCH THIS.

great idea, and not without some merits, but it would have been equally as effective as a 20-minute short.

alex: this is fine to watch outside the US: "Unfortunately, it comes from Hulu which means only those in the US can watch, and only those who are logged in - sorry guys!" - currently watching it from australia, and not logged in 🙂

Hm, maybe Hulu changed their ways? Alex is right though, usually Hulu won't work for anyone outside of the US.

Come on. This will do zero business at the box office.

If you just thought the movie was stupid, then you failed to actually watch the movie. The opening monologue explains that what will happen makes no sense and then the film proceeds to not make much sense. Was Rubber great...not really. Was it horrible...not at all. Was it original...by far. Did it make any sense...no, but it was not supposed to make much sense in the first place

Well I want to see this the idea alone is enough to see it.

Saw the movie yesterday and loved it! More a breaking-the-fourth-wall critique on the entire filmmaking process that a horror movie. A bizarre, surreal, wonderful little film.
