Bruce Willis and 50 Cent Teaming Up Again to Fight 'Fire with Fire'
Back in November we heard that Bruce Willis would team-up with 50 Cent for a thriller called Set Up. Well the trailer recently came out, but it just looked so awful that we decided not to post it. Now Variety reports that for some reason, the two will team-up again for an indie drama called Fire with Fire. The story follows a fireman in the witness protection program. When he's threatened by the man he plans to testify against, he takes matters into his own hands to save the love of his life. In addition, Transformers franchise star Josh Duhamel is starring in the film from director David Barrett and writer Tom Conner.
Apparently the film is part of a 10-picture deal backed by $200 million with Lionsgate releasing the films. Set Up was one such film, and another Bruce Willis film, the adaptation of Lay the Favorite also starring Rebecca Hall, is part of the deal as well. Honestly, I don't know why Bruce Willis is wasting his time with films like this. I mean, when's the last time 50 Cent had a decent movie? It just seems like the actor who leads the Die Hard franchise and starred in The Sixth Sense could find better things to do. What do you think?
