Bullock Has 'Trouble with the Curve' & Don Johnson Gets 'Unchained'
Just last week we learned that Clint Eastwood would make a rare return to acting in a film the veteran actor wasn't even directing himself. Trouble with the Curve follows an aging baseball scout, who’s losing his sight, and heads on a last road trip to Atlanta with his daughter to scout a hotshot prospect. Now Twitch has word that Sandra Bullock might be venturing into the world of another sport following success in The Blind Side the Oscar-winning actress is reportedly in talks to play Eastwood's daughter in the film from Robert Lorenz, one of Eastwood's longtime business partners making his directorial debut. More below!
In addition, another bit of casting has been revealed for the interesting assembly of talent in Quentin Tarantino's spaghetti western Django Unchained. Kurt Russell recently replaced Kevin Costner in the film and now another veteran actor will saddle up for the film as well with Variety reporting Don Johnson (who starred in Machete, a film inspired by the Grindhouse double feature from Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez) has landed an unknown role. There's an interesting connection between Johnson and the actor playing the titular character as Jamie Foxx starred in the film adaptation of Miami Vice, the police drama series which originally starred Johnson.
