Sucker Punch

We've already seen at least two kick-ass trailers and more than a few sexy posters/banners for Zack Snyder's wild-looking genre mash-up Sucker Punch. There's even been a behind-the-scenes featurette that showed up not too long ago. Well, now we have an awesome new banner that features each of the five hard-ass ladies wielding guns and swords in each of the crazy worlds that they must fight through. I'm not sure if this will ever get released as a print for purchase, but it's one of the coolest promo banners I have seen in a long time. Personally, I can't wait to see this movie, so March 25th can't get here soon enough. Check this out below!

Sucker Punch Banner 2

Sucker Punch is Zack Snyder's first movie not based on previous material, but an original idea that he came up with and turned into a screenplay with co-writer Steve Shibuya. Set in the 1950's, Sucker Punch follows Baby Doll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man. Warner Brothers is bringing Sucker Punch to theaters starting on March 25th this year. Thoughts?

I love that all it takes is a glorious high res banner like this to convince you that you've got to see this. None of the trailers did that? 🙂

well the trailer wasn't too convincing for some, the dialogue that Scott Glenn had was cringe worthy...but this banner and the teaser sold me 100%.

First off I think Mr. Synder is a visual genius. Has anyone seen Legend of the Guardians? If you haven't, watch it for the 3-D alone. This guy knows how to make things look awesome. I can't wait to see this.

This does look like a good flick, and some of the design looks influenced by Luis Royo

Baby Doll is living my fantasy. Sexy women, damn good visuals, a psychological escapist plot and a Zack Snyder film. Cannot wait to see this!

Look guys, I took an uber-high-res crop of one half of the poster and made it my background on my new 27" iMac! Looks awesome - now I can just look at the sexy Emily Browning with a giant samurai sword all day long!

Awesome... just awesome! I'm in.

I don't know why but Amber is turning out to be my favorite girl. It comes out on my birthday, so I will definitely watch it!

Trailer looks very good......hope its not too much like Watchmen, which i thought was long and kind of boring.
