Haywire

We've yet to see trailers or even a poster for Steven Soderbergh's action thriller Haywire (formerly known as Knockout). However, some cool promo art that may or not be predecessors to official posters have just surfaced and they're pretty damn great. The film stars MMA fighter Gina Carano in her first feature film and these pieces of promo art showed up at one of her fansites (via The Playlist). They're pretty unique, and while it'd be great to see a couple of them in theaters, only one seems like a viable option as it highlights the cast including Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas and many more. See below!

All Images Were Removed at the Request at Relativity Media. Sorry!

These posters apparently come from Neil Kellerhouse, the man who also designed the poster for The Girlfriend Experience (you can see some similarities). The above art are the pieces that looked most like actual posters, but there are a few more photos at the source that just seem unfinished or look like stylized stills (but they still look pretty damn cool). Either way, some of these shots have me looking forward to Carano kicking ass as Mallory Kane, a black ops super soldier, who is double crossed by someone on her own team and must uncover who set her up to take the fall for a job gone wrong, leaving blood on her hands. No official release date has been set, but word on the street is the film may hit theaters in August. Thoughts?

The cast...is stupendous! I anxious to see Carano's acting talent...and if she does well I wonder if she'll get Lara Croft or if it ever happens Wonder Woman?

    I thought Soderbergh quit movies?

These posters are wonderful for many reasons—just as Girlfriend Experience's was. Looking forward to this movie now.
