Like Crazy Trailer

"Of you, and me..." Paramount has unveiled the first trailer for Drake Doremus' indie Like Crazy, one of my favorite films of the Sundance Film Festival. Like Crazy stars Anton Yelchin as a college student who meets a young British girl, Felicity Jones, also studying in LA, they fall in love, but she overstays her visa, gets in trouble and has to remain in the UK. And since you guys need to know about the casting, Jennifer Lawrence is in the mix, too. I'd call this the 500 Days of Summer-meets-Blue Valentine of 2011, because it's an emotionally heavy film, but of the same extraordinary quality as both. I can't recommend it enough!

A British college student falls for an American only to be separated after she's banned for staying too long.

Like Crazy is written and directed by up-and-coming American filmmaker Drake Doremus, of the indie comedies Douchebag, Spooner and Moonpie previously. The screenplay was co-written by Doremus and actor Ben York Jones. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it won Grand Jury Prize and a Special Jury Prize for Acting to Felicity Jones. Paramount Vantage is bringing Like Crazy to theaters starting on October 28th this fall. I loved it, go see this! Check out: facebook/LikeCrazyMovie.

Seems like Anton Yelchin was just 10 years old last time I remember him...now he's in a serious romance drama. Man I'm getting old.

Uh, is it just me or could anyone actually understand a single word of that trailer? I even had the volume up 100% both on the video and on my computer. Looks pretty though.

Wow! That looks really long and really boring. "Separated" by having to go back?! Ugh!

this is the reason all teenagers think they are adults. some sixteen year old will see this and say, "this is, like, totally my life! my parents get me blah, blah, blah!" it is very frustrating that all you need to win at sundance is two peculiar actors staring at eachother like eeyore, and a steadycam...... PASS! How did this get financed?

understand your thoughts abt these kinda films and sundance; nothing else can can win nowadays...but still. it does look like a good film

500 Days of Summer was quirky and showed how different perspectives on a relationship can be. Blue Valentine was a fun and intense piece in parallel, showing two sides of a longer relationship. I enjoyed both, but this, meh, not really into it.
