Patrick Warburton Joining Seth MacFarlane's Raunchy Comedy 'Ted'
We've already heard about quite the interesting cast coming together for "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane's first foray into live-action filmmaking with Ted. Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis will star in the raunchy comedy about a 33-year old man (Wahlberg) whose teddy bear (to be created with CGI and voiced by MacFarlane himself.) comes to life when he's young and poses problems for him as an adult when the bear's alcohol fueled, womanizing ways get in the way of marrying his girlfriend (Kunis). Now Deadline has word that regular "Family Guy" voice actor Patrick Warburton will also be appearing in the comedy.
The actor, known for his role in "Seinfeld" and "The Tick" in addition to voicing Peter Griffin's handicapped friend Joe Swanson on MacFarlane's hit animated series, will play a sexually confused co-worker of Wahlberg's at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car front office. Interestingly enough the script apparently described the character as "a burly Patrick Warburton type" so it very well may have been written with the actor in mind. Obviously the years of collaboration between Warburton and MacFarlane make this reunion a no-brainer. Warburton joins a supporting cast that also includes Joel McHale and Giovanni Ribisi as we previously reported. Seriously, I can't wait to see how this turns out, it sounds awesome. How about you?
