Rade Sherbedgia Wants Revenge on Liam Neeson as 'Taken 2' Villain

Rade Sherbedgia

Though you might not know him by name, you've certainly seen Serbian actor Rade Sherbedgia in recent films like X-Men: First Class and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, not to mention films from years passed like Snatch and Mission: Impossible 2. Now the actor is poised to take on a pivotal role in the anticipated action sequel Taken 2 with Liam Neeson returning for some ass-kicking. Filming is set to begin on the film later this month with Rade Sherbedgia playing Murad, the father of a kidnapper slain in the long line of fatalities caused by the lethal Bryan Mills (Neeson) in the surprise hit from 2008. Read on!

Heat Vision says Sherbedgia's character is described as a vengeful man who gives orders and doesn't take them. When Murad takes Mills and his wife hostage, their daughter is enlisted to help save them. Though it sounds like Maggie Grace, who plays Neeson's daughter in the original film, is made out to be the hero in the sequel, I'm betting that Neeson still has plenty of opportunity to throw some hard punches and dish out some pain. Famke Janssen is also returning as Neeson's wife in the sequel which comes from Colombiana director Oliver Megaton working from a script by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.

The first film was a great blend of action and storyline. I hope they take their time with the sequel. Too many films (especially action sequels) tend to be rushed. Nevertheless, I'll be there!

This sounds perfect for Taken, as the whole first movie was too cheesy for me.  I've never been able to take this actor seriously...  so this sounds about right.

michael collins; rob roy; schindlers list; the other man - these are excellent movies........i can't believe you don't take LN seriously.

The article isn't about Liam Neeson, dude.  I love Neeson.  Obviously I'm talking about the subject of the article.

No matter where I see this guy, I only ever think of Mission Impossible 2, when Tom Cruise had a mask of his face. That movie was ridiculous.

I love Rade! He has the same haircut and beard in every film...

The daughters the hero?! Christ no.  I want Liam booting ass not his wet, weak ass daughter.

I like Sherbedgia, I think the first movie I seen him in was The Saint. I thought Taken was pretty good, alot better than I thought it was going to be.  (just like Unknown) I really think they shouldnt do a sequel, but this is hollywood, they dont know how to leave something alone.

and I think the whole daughter/herothing is terrible! Besson, please spare us the disappointment.

Boris the Bullet Dodger. Why do they call him the bullet dodger? 'Cause he dodges bullets.

Phillip Gockel on Oct 14, 2011

BORIS THE BLADE! That should be his most recognizable role, not someone from that stupid mission impossible movie.

Chris Amaya on Oct 14, 2011

He was also the homeless guy in Batman Begins

Alright! Boris the Blade! Not too thrilled about the daughter's role in this is, but maybe they'll have some Run Lola Run-type action. And I'm sure Neeson will still kick some serious ass.

For some his most recognizable role was in Eyes Wide Shut as the costumier. Wonder if his hair is still falling out?

Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit them with it.
