Second Official Trailer for 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I'

Between the first teaser trailer and the teaser posters reminiscent of grocery store romance novels, it's clear that Breaking Dawn: Part I, the first half of the two-part conclusion of The Twilight Saga is going to deliver more of the same to fans who have come to be rabid for the supernatural romance franchise. While I would normally use the amount of melodrama in this new trailer as a point of criticism, it's essentially become the style of the series and works in the same way the camp of movies like Fright Night does. Either way, there's plenty of vampire romance and baby drama to go around in the all-new trailer below!

Here's the new trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I from Yahoo! Movies:

Oscar winner Bill Condon (of Gods and Monsters, Kinsey, Dreamgirls) will direct both new Breaking Dawn films in The Twilight Saga starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Michael Sheen, Anna Kendrick, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Maggie Grace, Jackson Rathbone, Lee Pace and many others. Based on the fourth novel in Stephenie Meyer's uber-popular Twilight series, this was adapted by screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt & Stephenie Meyer producing. Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies for release - the first arrives November 18th, the second November 16th, 2012.

I've been pretty critical of the series up to this point. But I have to admire the way it sticks to it's guns. It knows it's melodramatic, and chooses to be. This looks like the epic culmination of all the tripe we've seen so far... but in a good way! Ben a film fan

the only remote reason that i might see these two movies is because i really want to see how jacob is gonna fall in love with a baby. that shit just fucking writes itself.

He doesn't fall in love with the baby. He's connected to her so he protects her and acts more like a big brother. In the books she will eventually grow up to be his age and the dynamics might change, but the books never get to that point anyway
