Bill Nighy / Stanley Tucci

Though we're still waiting to find out who will snag the lead in Bryan Singer's version of Jack the Giant Killer, two other cast members in the film have just been revealed. The Wrap reports Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones) and Bill Nighy (Pirate Radio) have both joined the story which sees a long-standing peace between humans and giants threatened when a young farmer tries to rescue a princess who was kidnapped and taken to the giants' kingdom. The project is slated to start production in London next month with New Line Cinema, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros behind the eagerly anticipated tentpole. Read on!

As for the roles these cast members will fill, Tucci is playing Roderick, the story's central villain and an adviser to the king who has plans on taking over Cloister, the kingdom at the center of the fairytale adaptation. Meanwhile, Nighy will play Fallon, the two-headed leader of the giants. The other half of that same character will also be played by John Kassir, a voice actor known for his talents in video games like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and cartoons like "Rocket Power." With production gearing up to start next month, hopefully we'll find out which actor will take the role of Jack sooner than later. Thoughts?
