TGB Episode 72: Closing Out the Summer Season (Guest: Kevin Carr)

August 3, 2011

The Golden Briefcase - Summer 2011

On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by guest Kevin Carr from Fat Guys at the Movies to go through their Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD & Blu-Ray releases, new trailers for Peter Berg's Battleship, George Lucas' Red Tails and Ben Wheatley's indie Kill List, give feedback to a listener voicemail, and much more! The main topic of the night was a discussion on the summer of 2011 in movies. The guys go over some of their favorites, the worst and some pleasant surprises as well! They also chat over the use of 3D in this summer's films due to their previous discussion with Kevin in a past episode.

The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Tuesday nights starting at 7:30PM (PST). You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

  • Yet another great episode 😀 Good work as always! I was expecting more on Super 8, but that's ok. Also, I laughed throughout the whole trailer watch segment: pure awesome! I can't recommend this enough to all visitors :) Already can't wait for the next ep 😉
