Vincent D'Onofrio's Horror Musical 'Don't Go in the Woods' Trailer
"We came out here to write, not to have a good time." Hey don't look at me, I'm as clueless as everyone else as to where this came from. A trailer has debuted for the Tribeca Film release Don't Go in the Woods, a twisted musical-horror hybrid directed by actor Vincent D'Onofrio, starring a bunch of young unknown actors. While this starts out with a promising concept, it quickly turns bad, especially when a bunch of girls randomly show up and the singing actually begins. I prefer The Legend of the Beaver Dam horror musical over this indie trainwreck. If you believe there's some entertainment to get from this, then fire it up below.

Tells the story of a young band who heads to the woods to get away from their everyday lives in order to focus on writing new songs, only to find themselves in the middle of a nightmare beyond comprehension.
Don't Go in the Woods is the directorial debut of acclaimed actor Vincent D’Onofrio, in everything from Full Metal Jacket to JFK to Ed Wood to Men in Black to The Thirteenth Floor to The Salton Sea and beyond. The screenplay was written by Sam Bisbee and Joe Vinciguerra, from a story by D’Onofrio. This premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival in 2010 and is just getting released now. Tribeca Film is opening Don't Go in the Woods on VOD starting December 26th, with a theatrical release select cities January 2012. Anyone?
