Transformers

A badass new featurette has been debuted over on Badass Digest (via SlashFilm) today for Transformers: Dark of the Moon highlighting the skydivers that appear in the movie. We've talked about them many times before, as they're in the trailers and have been mentioned by Michael Bay time and time again, the wingsuit guys who jump out of that helicopter. The video focuses on J.T. Holmes, one of the "precision skydivers" who worked on the film. It's awesome seeing these guys just jump off, and jump out, of pretty much anything. It's finally just a few more weeks left until we get to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon!

Watch the behind-the-scenes featurette from Transformers: Dark of the Moon:

If you haven't seen the latest epic trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, you can still watch it here.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is again directed by everyone's favorite explosive director, Michael Bay, of the previous two Transformers movies as well as Bad Boys I and II, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor and The Island. The screenplay was written by Ehren Kruger, who co-wrote the Revenge of the Fallen script but went solo this time, and also worked on The Ring, The Skeleton Key and Brothers Grimm screenplays. Paramount is bringing Transformers 3 to theaters everywhere in 3D on June 29th. Bring on the summer!

    like a boss!!
  • 00:35 - 00:41  (These are Actual people flying in a down town environments and It is never been done before )  !!!! It look like this guy never watched  :  Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life  ... were both Angelina Jolie and Gerard Butler jumping from the buildings in to the middle of the town !!!  and it has been done in 2002 .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pynpZAaPWNI 01:42 - 01:46 I am really surprised but in a good way that until now no one died in Michael Bay 's movies  😉
    • lol, true. but that was mostly green screen...these guys are pros. doing it...in downtown Chicago. That has NEVER been done. Wasn't expecting much from Bay after Transformers 2 aka "The film that should never have been made". But this is sick.
      • I think you need to watch the making of the movie ... There was no green screen in that scenes where the stunts of both actors are jumping and flying over the city ... that is why it is not been done for the first time in Transformers .. but maybe for the first time in Chicago .. and I am kind a agree with you for Transformers 2 .. 😉

Hey, where are the Transformers? If I wanted to see guys in wing suits I'd just youtube it. Throwing these guys in just because Michael Bay thinks is cool is a bit of a hack job. No thanks. He still owes me money for Transformers 2.

Transformers is expected to appeal to audiences through action, but also through the connection with humans. Now, as you know, G1 had humans in it, and that helped the show. Transformers (2007) had humans in it, and that helped the show. While some people would think two hours of robots just shooting each other is cool, sometimes it's good to show the Transformers alliance with humans. Hence, they make a few humans jump of a building. Hey, if Optimus Prime can fly, humans can glide down to the ground. As for the movie well, it looks like it'll dominate the universe of filmaking, so...
