The Muppets Parody Trailer

Wait, wait, wait, stop! Is this for real? One more trailer? Amazing. Disney has debuted the final parody trailer via YouTube for The Muppets, starring Kermit the Frog, Jason the Segel, Amy the Adams and Miss Piggy, making this likely the last we'll see before this adventure finally arrives in theaters. This time they riff on Paranormal Activity, Puss in Boots, Happy Feet Two and of course, The Twilight Saga: The Breaking Dawn, but only briefly because it's a recap plus this-is-what-we-wanted-to-do kind of trailer, but it's still as funny and as goofy as the last few. We'll see everyone at the theaters when this hits!

Watch the final parody trailer for Disney's The Muppets, this time actually titled The Muppets:

James Bobin ("Flight of the Conchords") is at the helm of this new Muppets movie, which follows Walter and Gary (Segel), two die-hard Muppet fans and roommates who must save Muppet Theater by reuniting Kermit, Piggy, and the entire troupe to stage an "old-fashioned extravaganza." The cast is full of all kinds of celebrity cameos and other great random appearances, including Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais, Alan Arkin and Billy Crystal. We've been waiting for this! Disney will be bringing The Muppets to theaters starting November 23rd this Thanksgiving. It's almost here, can't wait!

Love it! Excellent marketing, though I still feel it may not do gangbuster numbers on opening weekend. Who cares, I'll still support the effort by watching it on the big screen when it opens in India!
