Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted

Our last adventure with Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe didn't see our zoo animal heroes return home to NYC, and now the crew seems to be getting into trouble on another continent in the teaser trailer for Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted which brings back Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith as the aforementioned wild animals. But this time Frances McDormand joins the action as a French law enforcement official in hot pursuit of our heroes and, of course, those wacky penguins and Sacha Baron Cohen as the lemur King Julien. Watch it!

Here's the teaser trailer for DWA's Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (via Yahoo! Movies):

Directed by Eric Darnell (Madagascar, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa) and surprisingly written by Noah Baumbach (Fantastic Mr. Fox) Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted brings back Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith return as as Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe still fighting to get back to New York City. But their journey takes them through Europe where the find cover in a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style. Sacha Baron Cohen, Andy Richter and Frances McDormand also star in the film headed to theaters on June 8th, 2012. Good?

Most expensive looking movie that was actually meant for a direct-to-dvd.

Pass. The second movie wasnt funny and made little to no sense. This movie looks like they wanted to make a movie for money and not for entertainment like the first movie. And it wasnt funny

I have no words to express how senseless the scenario for this movie is. I really tried... but no words.

each one devolves from a endearingly funny movie.  but.  i'll give them that pillow is filled with dead baby birds line.  that was a smart line.  oh well, my daughter will like it... it has animals.

I, for one, have had it with smarty-pants, catch-phrasing, hootchie-acting animated movies.  For God sakes, Alvin the chipmunk quoted Charlie Sheen.....I miss the good, ole days of 2d.

They're *still* relying on that song?

What.the.flying.fuck. This is even worse than Happy Feet 2's flying penguin premise or whatever that movie turned out to be. Freaking Madagascar animals in Europe in a CAR CHASE?! Can you get any less original? And before anyone says anything, just because they're animals does not make it original.

Noah Baumbach must be hard up for cash, because he definitely wrote this shit on spec.
