Watch: Full 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' Theatrical Trailer Hits!

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Trailer

"If I walk away now, I'm just trading one demon for another." Columbia Pictures has unveiled a theatrical trailer for Neveldine/Taylor's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, the return of the Marvel anti-hero Ghost Rider, played again by Nicolas Cage. Despite hearing some bad buzz from a recent fan screening, the action in this looks awesome, with huge flaming cranes and badass chain-whip action. There's no pissing fire like the first teaser trailer, but there's plenty to make up for it, including the reveal of villain Blackout, played by Johnny Whitworth. I'm looking forward to this, I hope I'm not alone. Fire up the new trailer!

As seen in the first official trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Nicolas Cage returns, with Idris Elba, Ciarán Hinds as the Devil, and Johnny Whitworth as Blackout. "This version, we wanted to give people what we think comic book fans really want to see with Ghost Rider. It is darker and more intense. He is from a nightmare. He will scare the hell out of you," director Brian Taylor has said. The story was conceived by David S. Goyer, with a screenplay by Scott M. Gimple & Seth Hoffman. Columbia is opening Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance in theaters in 3D starting on February 17th this winter. Looks badass!

I think just the trailer has beaten the first one, but that's not saying much. I just wish it wasn't Nick Cage again! he just doesn't look the part

not too bad - although i liked the first trailer a little better. alex - i just watched the batman prologue........and while i'm stoked for the movie i thought this trailer was flat and kind of boring. i thought they'd have done a better job on banes reveal

I may have to eat my words on this one. This trailer is definitely better than the last teaser. That one made the movie look absolutely stupid with the pissing of the fire. But this has my interest. For me, this movie might be Neveldine and Taylor's redemption after the abortions that were Gamer and Crank 2.

...hmm im just not sure how i feel about this one, good to see the addition of Idris Elba though he never dissapoints. As for Nic Cage thats another story. To be honest i'd much rather see a sequel to Constantine as well.

God damn it, I'm going to speak for the minority here. I LOVED THE FIRST MOVIE! I'm looking forward to this one as well and would not have anyone other than Nic Cage playing Johnny Blaze. It's a perfect match up to me.

I expected a whole lot more out of the first movie and it was a bit of a let down for me. I am willing to give this a chance though! Maybe they learned from their mistakes?
