Jason Segel and The Muppets on SNL

In case you missed it, this past weekend Jason Segel finally made a long overdue debut as host of the late night sketch comedy series "Saturday Night Live." Since the anticipated return of The Muppets featuring the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star hits theaters this week, what better venue to promote the film and have some hearty laughs? Below you'll find a couple of clips featuring Segel and The Muppets. In the opening monologue, Segel is worried that the gang thinks they're all hosting the show too, and later Kermit the Frog goes solo for the regular Weekend Update segment "Really!?" with Seth Meyers. Watch below!

James Bobin ("Flight of the Conchords") is at the helm of this new Muppets movie, which follows Walter and Gary (Segel), two die-hard Muppet fans and roommates who must save Muppet Theater by reuniting Kermit, Piggy, and the entire troupe to stage an "old-fashioned extravaganza." The cast is full of all kinds of celebrity cameos and other great random appearances, including Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais, Alan Arkin and Billy Crystal. We've been waiting for this! Disney will be bringing The Muppets to theaters starting November 23rd this Thanksgiving. It's almost here, go see it!
