Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

"I can destroy him… once and for all." While we haven't seen the official trailer for Part 2 of Warner Bros' epic Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows finale, a new behind-the-scenes featurette was posted on Facebook (via HPANA) that features quite a bit of new footage. I think it's released as part of ABC Family's "Harry Potter Weekend", so tune in if you want more. The featurette has interviews with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, David Yates and lots of Part 2 footage. Oh I can't wait for the summer, because I know July 15th is going to be an one hell of a day for a lot of Harry Potter fans. And this is just a tease - enjoy!

Watch the new featurette for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2:

There's also footage from both Deathly Hallows movies in the first official trailer released last summer.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is again directed by British filmmaker David Yates, of Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince previously. The script was also written again by Steve Kloves, of Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, and also Half-Blood Prince, but not Order of the Phoenix. This is based on J.K. Rowling's very popular series of books which have already concluded. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 arrives in theaters everywhere on July 15th this summer!

Why can't this one not be released in 3-D? the first one made a killing without the stupid gimmick.
    • Although i agree with you. Warner Bros always said they would do Part II in 3D because the had the time for "proper post-conversion" rather than that Clash of the Titans nonsense. Although any 3D film SHOULD BE FILMED IN 3D...this is as close as they were going to get without literal 3D filiming. Hopefully it'll come out ok :/

Conversion, Shot in, Developed solely for 3-D none of that appeals to me. The faster Hollyweird's hard-on for 3-D dissipates I'm gonna complain.

Quite being a baby. See it in 2D and let us who want to see it in 3D enjoy ourselves without your whining. There's plenty to go around.

I'm not whining I'm complaining. Difference. Go waste your money on a gimmick if you want, but that's not gonna stop me from complaining. 3-D is useless in film. It adds nothing and takes away a hell of a lot.

Ahh, another reminder I must wait for July to get here to finish. Also 3D? Blah... thumbs down for extra dimensions.
  • Haven't seen the first part as I'd like to see them back to back. Bluray in the morning and theater at night or some variation of that.

Maybe they'll re-release part 1 the weekend before part 2 comes out. It could make them a lot of money.

Man, the last, like, three or four Harry Potter movies have been fierce as hell. I love where this saga has gone and it looks to end on a beautiful note.
