Hanna Trailer

Focus Features recently debuted yet another new full-length international trailer for Joe Wright's Hanna, the trained-assassin flick starring Saoirse Ronan (of Atonement, City of Ember, The Lovely Bones) as a highly skilled 14-year-old assassin, trained by her father, played by Eric Bana. The cast also includes Cate Blanchett as the CIA agent hunting down Bana and his offspring. I wasn't really that impressed with first official trailer, it just seemed so bland despite containing some awesome new Chemical Brothers music, but this new one definitely looks like there's more to the story than we know. Watch this newest trailer below.

Raised by her father in Finland, Hanna's upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her a perfect assassin. Sent into the world on a mission, Hanna travels stealthily across Europe.

Hanna is directed by Golden Globe nominated, highly acclaimed British filmmaker Joe Wright, of the films Pride and Prejudice, Atonement and Paramount's flop The Soloist previously. The screenplay was co-written by Joe Wright, Joe Penhall (Enduring Love, The Road) and David Farr ("MI-5"). Focus Features, the genre/ indie arm of Universal, will be bringing Hanna to theaters everywhere starting on April 8th late in spring.
