Shame Trailer

"Do you wanna play?" Fox Searchlight has finally debuted an official US trailer via Apple for Steve McQueen's Shame, the NC-17 rated sex drama, and while it certainly is a fantastic and riveting trailer, it's the exact same as the UK one we featured a few weeks ago. Shame stars Michael Fassbender a man living in New York City with an addiction to sex, in every form, and his life is turned upside down when his fragile sister, played by Carey Mulligan, moves in. It's one of my absolute favorite films of the year (review), I cannot wait to see it again. This trailer should make most people very anxious to see this, too. Do not miss!

Shame is directed by Steve McQueen, who also wrote the script with Abi Morgan. The controversial and sexual drama stars Michael Fassbender as a 30-something living in New York City who can't control his sex life and sexual desire, and things get thrown out of whack when his "fragile" sister, played by Carey Mulligan, moves into his apartment. Fox Searchlight says, "Steve McQueen’s courageous exploration of modern life's extremes is breathtaking. He has crafted an extraordinary film that probes some of the deepest and darkest issues ever portrayed on screen." Fox Searchlight will bring Shame to theaters December 2nd.
