Paul Rudd

By now the marketing is already in full force for the Sundance selected comedy Our Idiot Brother starring the hilarious Paul Rudd. However, apparently the comedy star had some ideas of his own regarding the promotion of his new film, so he went straight to the film's distributor, Harvey Weinstein, to pitch some of these wonderful gems. Obviously every single idea was meticulously crafted as Rudd came up with them while riding the bus and wrote them on a piece of toilet paper. They range from changing the title of the film to interrupting a sex scene in some other movie, but I'll let you see for yourself. Watch below!

Here's Paul Rudd's genius marketing ideas for Our Idiot Brother (courtesy of Funny or Die):

Our Idiot Brother was directed by filmmaker Jesse Peretz, former member of The Lemonheads and director of a few films previously like First Love Last Rites, The Ch√Ęteau, and The Ex, as well as work on "Important Things with Demetri Martin". The screenplay was written by newcomers David Schisgall & Evgenia Peretz. This premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year and was acquired by The Weinstein Company. They're bringing Our Idiot Brother to theaters starting August 26th this summer. Watch the latest trailer.
