Fox Searchlight recently unveiled on Apple (in glorious high defintion) a fantastic new behind-the-scenes featurette for Black Swan focusing on Oscar nominated director Darren Aronofsky. If you haven't been able to tell, we're huge fans of Aronofsky here at FS.net and have been honored to interview him a couple of times (watch our Black Swan interview here). Darren is a very intricate and brilliant director, and this full 5-minute video gives us an inside look at his process and how he worked on set to deliver one of 2010's best films. Black Swan has received 5 nominations in the 83rd Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Actress (Natalie Portman) and Best Editing. Portman also won a Golden Globe.

Black Swan is directed by award winning iconic filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, of the films Pi, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, and The Wrestler previously. The story and script were written by newcomer Andres Heinz and revised by Protozoa Pictures' exec Mark Heyman. Fox Searchlight released Aronofsky's fifth film on December 3rd last year.
