The Resident Trailer

Aww crap this doesn't look so good. Pajiba found a full-length trailer for Hammer Films new thriller The Resident (originally titled Invasion Of Privacy), the first Hammer Film to also bring back Christopher Lee, who was a staple in their horror classics from the 60s & 70s. Yes, somehow it is already shot and ready to be released, but it's going straight-to-DVD and not getting much attention. Hilary Swank stars as a new resident at an apartment in New York who is stalked by her landlord, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. It also stars Lee Pace and, of course, Christopher Lee. Okay, it doesn't look awful, just not that great either. Take a look!

Watch the first official trailer for Antti Jokinen's The Resident:

The Resident is about a doctor (Swank) who moves into a new tenement in New York City only to be stalked by her landlord (Morgan). Inevitably, his creep factor rises and a game of cat and mouse begins. Christopher Lee plays Morgan's grandfather named August, who obviously has a key role in the film as you can tell. The film is both co-written and directed by Finish filmmaker Antti Jokinen, who is making his English language feature debut with The Resident. Image Entertainment is releasing The Resident in the US, but it looks like it will be going straight-to-DVD in March. What a let down! For more info, head to: HammerFilms.com.
