Magneto in X-Men: First Class

Briefly: A quick update, because tomorrow is when you'll really want to come back. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the first official trailer for 20th Century Fox's X-Men: First Class, directed by Matthew Vaughn (quotes and more here) and produced by Bryan Singer, arrives online tomorrow via their official Facebook. They're obviously trying to hit the key demographic of comic fans who want to see this. Anyway, EW released that awesome new photo of Michael Fassbender as Magneto above, and there's a nifty full-size X-Men: First Class logo you should check out below as well. Can't wait to see the trailer - see ya tomorrow!

Who cares?

About what? The new logo and that a trailer is coming tomorrow? A LOT of people care... But I'm guessing you don't - not an X-Men fan?

Alex Billington on Feb 9, 2011

I think he's in the same boat as me. It's the fact that we ARE X-men fans, which make us not excited for this veeery non-canon movie.

Dan Arbiture on Feb 10, 2011

Dan you must have only read a few comics because there are many versions of the X-Men in the Marvel universe. they even actually change artists and writers who then change story lines. in fact Marvel can dip into their "Multiverse" at any given time and create a new version whenever it suits their purpose.

I'm sorry but what kind of complaint is that? ALL OF THE MARVEL MOVIES ARE NON-CANON!!!

Let's see a trailer first, then decide if we care or not.

Ok got to say that the helmet looks really cool, better than the one Ian McKellen wore on the X-men movies

I am not really excited abou this one, which I think is a good thing because it may come out and surprised everyone with a really good comic book film. From what I can tell the general viewing public have no clue this is even being made. They really missed the boat on not prepping a Superbowl trailer.

Anonymous on Feb 10, 2011

Really, guys? This is directed by Matthew Vaughn....Kick Ass, and Stardust? More than capable hands, I think.

Ion677 on Feb 10, 2011

I would love to watch wolverine in this movie!

Just because it's "produced" by singer doesn't mean it's automatically on par with his first 2. (Let's not forget, Jurassic Park III was "produced" by Spielberg.) The franchise feels "tired" already.
