Cosmopolis Trailer #2

Finally the first film about our new millennium. Just before being announced as an In Competition entry at Cannes 2012 this morning, the first full-length trailer for David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis hit, sending cinephiles into a tizzy over its seductive debauchery and dark Cronenberg vibe. Out of nowhere, Twitch has followed up with an entirely different full-length Cosmopolis trailer that highlights many of its fantastic cast members. We already know Robert Pattinson stars as the billionaire who takes his limo around New York, but Samantha Morton is in it this time, so is Kevin Durand and even Paul Giamatti. See below!

Watch the second international trailer for David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis, embedded from Twitch:

David Cronenberg (Scanners, Videodrome, A History of Violence, Eastern Promises) writes/directs this adaptation of Don DeLillo's novel following a wealthy asset manager (Robert Pattinson) who crosses the whole of Manhattan across 24 hours in a stretch limo just for a haircut. However, the guy can't get a break as he's repeatedly delayed by a presidential motorcade, anti-globalization demonstrations, and a celebrity funeral. But his biggest problem comes when he must deal with the repercussions of a risky bet against the yen on a bad day for the market that may cause him to lose all his money and his newlywed bride. Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, and Mathieu Amalric also star. Expected release sometime in summer (maybe May), but no exact date set yet.

After my all time favorite director David lynch he didn't find any interesting subject to turn it to movie and after 11 basic movie and up his hands above to show his Surrendering I believe in only cronenberg. He know the original ideas is become rare but never surrender and in old days of his life make what he love and live for. I like David (lynch) I love David (cronenberg)

Am I the only one confused as to what's going on? 😐 Giant rats and specters haunting the world and shit. Regardless, looks mindfuckingly cool.
