Latest New International 'Prometheus' Trailer Shows Nearly Too Much
"Not a map, an invitation." I've hesitated numerous times posting this trailer, but here it is anyway. But my suggestion is - do not watch this trailer. Fox has released another extended three-minute trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus, his return to sci-fi that looks spectacular so far. While the other trailers revealed a few months back seemed to show a lot, this one proves that there's still many more secrets and twists yet to be seen, but that's exactly why this is showing too much. At this point, I don't want to see too much more footage that'll ruin it, instead I'd rather see the entire movie - and be blown away then. That said, have at it!
Watch the new extend UK trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus, from YouTube, if you want to:
We're trying not to figure out too much about this in advance, but they keep giving us big hints and teases of some very fascinating things, in both trailers. "If you don't stop it, there won't be any home to go back to!"
Prometheus is directed by legendary Oscar nominated filmmaker Ridley Scott, who started it all with Alien and Blade Runner, also directing Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, American Gangster, Body of Lies and Robin Hood most recently. The screenplay was originally written by Jon Spaihts (The Darkest Hour), then updated by Damon Lindelof of "Lost" and Cowboys & Aliens, Star Trek 2. Fox has Prometheus set to hit theaters in 3D starting June 8th this summer. Visit Weyland Corp.

Hard as it is, I'm not watching this trailer. I only flicked through the last one. I re-watched ALIEN again the other day. Lost count how many times I've seen it. I'm looking forward to this movie so much it almost feels like I'm going to wake up and find it was all a dream...

Hmmm, kind of wish I hadn't watched it now, if only for the "look, it's a ship, oh no, it's crashing" reveal. That said, we all know there's more, seeing as someone's getting into the driving seat at 2.37... Looking forward to it, but from now on will remain TV spot-, extended trailer-, international trailer-, Japanese trailer-free 🙂

I hate trailers, don't watch them, they spoiler, I really prefer the photos And in case of promotheus I think even doesn't need any photos Promoteus 2012 overcome Alien 1979 and unfortunately we forget the old ones.

Phew! I managed to not watch it. I wish these kinda warnings were placed more often, like on The Cabin in the Woods. I had no idea what the movie was about, trailer ruined it. Ofc, there's more than 1000 trailers that ruin the entire movie, but you know what I mean 🙂

Want to watch this trailer so bad, but fear being spoiled when this movie is going to be epic. What to do!?

Why wait? Scientist travel to alien planet based on symbols left at man made sites. Discover species that are not friendly. Species attaches and begins transforming one of the scientist DNA to it's own to begin reproducing and fly the ship back to earth. Scientist get killed either by the aliens, deranged droids, or kamakazi on the alien craft. The End...

I couldn't hold out. While it shows minor spoilers, this doesn't spoil the movie at least I don't think. I'm still stoked for this. Must see.

safe to assume everybody on prometheus are going to die since the people on the nostromo (the ship in the alien film) had no idea about it.
Para on May 5, 2012
i want to see this at IMAX it looks great in 3D. In sydney we have the biggest imax screen in the world. The inside of the alien ship is a real osund stage not a CGI.
