"You're a work of art." When a movie is set in the porn industry, it'll likely take a red band trailer to really get the point across. And when it comes to the new red band trailer for About Cherry, it brings exactly what you would expect. Nudity, sex talk and plenty of sensuality to go around. Ashley Hinshaw seems to be the hold out when it comes to the sex, not because she's not gorgeous, but because as the innocent girl heading into the adult film business, it remains to be seen whether she will literally bare all. Meanwhile, she's definitely baring her soul to James Franco and Dev Patel as she navigates this wild new environment.

The story of a high school student (Ashley Hinshaw) who escapes trouble at home by running away to San Francisco, where she encounters the adult film world and aligns herself with a cocaine-addicted lawyer.

About Cherry was co-written and directed by author Stephen Elliott, founder of The Rumpus, author of The Adderall Diaries, who is making his feature directing debut. The screenplay was co-written by Lorelei Lee & Elliott. This first premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and played at the San Francisco Film Fest, also under the title just Cherry. IFC Midnight is releasing About Cherry in limited theaters starting September 21st.
