Columbia Pictures Already Prepping 2014 Release for 'James Bond 24'
Despite the fact that we won't see James Bond back in action until this November when Skyfall hits theaters with Daniel Craig reprising his role as Agent 007 for director Sam Mendes, that's not stopping Columbia Pictures from making sure James Bond doesn't have another extended hiatus from the big screen. Straight from CinemaCon, Bleeding Cool was quick to catch a statement from President of Worldwide Distribution, Rory Bruer, who says that the current plan is to have the untitled sequel James Bond 24 hit theaters in 2014. And while this is speculation, I'm betting they'll go with another November release date.
Considering all of the Bond movies with Daniel Craig as Bond have had a November release, that only makes sense as the studio seems to be looking to have Bond in theaters every two years. In addition, for those eagerly anticipating a teaser trailer for the film (since the first look photos are cool, but will only keep the hype going for so long), Columbia says the trailer (check Alex's video blog for his reaction to the trailer) will be attached to copies of Men in Black III this summer on May 25th. Personally, I wish that it would've somehow made its way into theaters along with The Avengers, but I guess they just don't have enough time.
