LOL with Miley Cyrus

"I know that this looks bad…" Since there aren't many other good trailers to feature, here's one you don't want to watch. A new trailer for a teen romantic comedy called LOL starring Miley Cyrus has hit YouTube via Vlicious. Yes, believe it or not with that title, this is a to-be-theatrically released movie from Lionsgate, and it's also a remake of the director's own 2008 French film, also titled LOL. There's a lot of questions in this, like: why the random trip to Paris, why is their hair blowing in the car, who's the band with the Dharma symbol? In addition to Miley, this co-stars Douglas Booth, Ashley Greene and Demi Moore. Have fun!

Watch the first official trailer for Lisa Azuelos' LOL, originally via Playlist:

In a world connected by YouTube, iTunes, and Facebook, Lola and her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents.

LOL is both written & directed by French filmmaker Lisa Azuelos, of a 2006 comedy called Hey Good Looking! and Ainsi soient-elles previously. She is directing a remake of her own film LOL (Laughing Out Loud) ®, the original French version of this same film. Produced by Double Feature Films and Mandate Pictures, Lionsgate will release LOL in theaters sometime in 2012. If interested, we suggest following them.

there are some movies that look so bad that you WANT to see them in theatres just so you can tell your grandchildren you were there for the apocalypse of shit house movies. this one cant even make that category. you wanna tell your kids , nope..... fuck it. couldnt do it. your grandpas a coward.

This will be in and out of theaters in two weeks. Barf
  • That was so funny. "She's an ordinary girl, with an ordinary life, and nothing outside of ordinary happens, except she has an ordinary party, and get's grounded for having a party, and it's so sad suddenly that a girl got grounded, but then they go to paris and it's all okay again." And I bet the trailer didn't even show any of the good parts.

I hope they all die in a plane crash on the way back from Paris.

Funny thing is that the french movie was released the same time than twilight 1 and did a better job in the french box office ... maybe that is why they needed a remake for this boring movie (unless you are a 14 year old girl don't go see it)
  • I probably wouldn't have watched this if it didn't say "Don't Watch" :) and I always regret it 😀
