First 'Last Stand' Poster with Arnold Schwarzenegger Has a Big Gun

An unofficial poster for The Last Stand debuted shortly after Comic-Con, but now the real marketing for the Arnold Schwarzenegger led film is kicking off with the first official poster. With Schwarzenegger suited up as a sheriff carrying a big gun, it's pretty clear that this is going to be his time to shine with his first lead role in over a decade. But he won't be alone as his team consists of Luis Guzman, Jaimie Alexander and Johnny Knoxville, plus some supporting roles for Forest Whitaker, Rodrigo Santoro, Genesis Rodriguez and Peter Stomare, and a villain role for Eduardo Noriega. The Last Stand marks the English-language debut of director Kim Jee-woon (I Saw the Devil, The Good, the Bad, the Weird) working from a script by Andrew Knauer, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau). The film follows Arnold Schwarzenegger as a former LAPD cop turned sheriff of a small border town which serves as the last thing standing between the world's most notorious drug kingpin and freedom in Mexico after he escapes from an FBI prisoner convoy. Forest Whitaker, Zach Gilford, Harry Dean Stanton and Luis Guzmán and more also star in Last Stand, hitting theaters on January 18th, 2013.
