Florence + the Machine - Snow White and the Huntsman Song

The track that the chart-topping group known as Florence + the Machine has already revealed their single Breath of Life for the film Snow White and the Huntsman, but now the standard music video complete with footage of recording the song and shots from the film has arrived. It's nothing spectacular, but it does have some great new footage from the June release, not to mention that you get to hear Florence's haunting, powerful voice run through the video. If you're interested in the soundtrack, it goes on sale May 29th with a score from James Newton Howard, (The Hunger Games) composer and more. Watch!

Here's the music video for Breath of Life from Snow White and the Huntsman via The Playlist:

In this new epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the Evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her. Actors Eddie Izzard, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Stephen Graham, Eddie Marsan and Ian McShane play dwarfs. This is being directed by Rupert Sanders, an acclaimed commercials director making his feature debut. Arrives in theaters on June 1st this summer.

Wasn't a fan when I first heard the song a few weeks ago, but I got into it seeing it performed just now.  Apparently I'm one of the few people pretty pumped about seeing the movie, too.

I'm into Florence and the Machine and the movie doesn't look bad either. They could have picked some shithouse singer doing another bland cover version of some crap 80's rock tune, that's pretty much the standard for pop music these days, though they have moved onto the 90's.

Some big thing suddenly transforms into lots of little things. Rinse. Repeat. The song was a non-event as well.
