Though sometimes it seems a bit hard to categorize certain films into genres, there are many out there which easily fit into the confines of a certain formula. Buddy cop comedies, sports movies, romantic comedies and other subgenre flicks often times are formulaic, and it's pretty easy to figure out what's going to happen. The New York International Latino Film Festival points out this fact with some recipes for familiar blockbuster movies along with the smart, but somewhat pretentious tagline: "Some movies are easy to make. Films are a different story." But being a bit trite doesn't make it untrue. Check 'em out below!
